“I first walked into the IDC during the height of the pandemic and said I needed to furnish a newly purchased townhome, that I knew what I wanted but that I intensely dislike shopping. During the following months Dawn and Denise could not have been more helpful. They not only heard what I was saying, they listened. My time was never wasted and I was never pressured but was shown items in keeping with what I had said I needed and wanted. I do not live in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area so considerable communication took place by phone and email with Dawn always keeping Denise current as related to items under consideration and decisions made while Denise did the same with Dawn. Not once was there even the slightest miscommunication. When we learned due to the pandemic the factory in Finland had stopped making dining tables and chairs Denise contacted someone at the factory to ask if they could please make the one table and 4 chairs I wanted from stock on hand AND THEY DID!!! I was grateful beyond words to think she had done this and that those at the factory had agreed. Three times Kevin and Rick delivered items to my home and each time I was impressed by their work habits. Kevin is extremely skilled/talented and a strong leader and I appreciated how he appropriately mentored Rick relating to why things were being done as they were. Every piece was placed exactly where I wanted and I know had I not been happy they'd have moved them. Whether ordered from Finland or Norway or bought off the floor, I could not be more pleased with the quality of the many pieces from the IDC and as important, could not be happier with the experience I had working with Dawn, Denise, Kevin and Rick. They were exceptional.”

“We took a Dad/Daughter date here for lunch with my pre-teen over Spring Break. What a perfect spot - she loved the chandeliers, the plants, and the booths. It felt like a really special day out and it was easily partnered with some shopping. The waitstaff was great at helping us find something on the menu that she would like and did a great job of giving us space while still being attentive. Her burger and lemonade was fantastic and my salad and Americano were perfect. We can't wait to go back!”

“I am a regular customer of Room & Board, and want to take a moment to highlight their very strong customer service and follow through. One of the recent items I purchased from them was an adjustable, electric wooden desk. It was a beautiful and expensive product, which was worth it to me as I was aiming for quality and durability over the long-term. I ended up misplacing the electric cord recently, which required extra steps from Room & Board to reorder and replace. Their customer service was excellent: they were communicative, responsive, and made every effort to replace the cord as quickly as was possible so I could resume use of the desk. I have had a similarly positive experience with any issues we have had with their furniture: they are responsive, kind, and work to make it right. After having purchased furniture in the last years from a few other local companies, Room & Board has stood out to us as excellent, and a trusted company. We will purchase our furniture from them moving forward.”

I was able to find a high performance quality velvet which was not available anywhere but there! Remember, you get what you pay for!”

“Shopping for my 1st pair of prescription glasses I came armed with the research necessary to help me make decisions. Jen at the Target Optical absolutely made all that behind the scenes research unnecessary. Jen has been working there for 5 years so her encyclopedic knowledge was vast. Without an ounce of pressure we discussed options. Having brought in my own designer frames was one of the reasons I chose Target. They have a policy on this allows, so all I needed was to get the correct details of the lens. They do have to send my frames out, so I was given a 14-21 day time frame. Also, I was given warning that the frames could get lost in the mail or cracked, but this I HOPE was just to cover a possible legal battle should this occur. Once Jen calls me, hopefully within the 14 days period I will write a second review. Thank you, Judith PS I kept the star rating to 4 until my new glasses arrive.”

“Date: November 2 around 5PM and 6:30 -Closing- ish P.MLet me say I have been here before and it was always a great experience. I really thought that I had already posted a review from years ago but I guess I haven't. I scheduled same day pickup item for my throw blanket and it all went well, the pick up was great! No issue! I however wanted to go inside ( LOL ). So my Bf and I did went inside and looked around for quite a bit because I haven't been in here for so long!! Went inside and Gally!!! It smelled so wonderful, I could feel Christmas, it looks aesthetically and smells pleasing. Great selection as always!! I went there to check out and try out their samples of their essential oil items in lotion and diffuser forms. Went to the second floor and the lady with the eyeglasses was so friendly!!! We had to go out because we had to go somewhere but came back to this place because I wanted to get the beautiful aroma of the 2 lotion, 1 diffuser and 2 counter top cleaner that I could get not get enough which my Bf got for me and the checkout ladies had a great smile and were friendly!!! Thank you so much for making us have a great experience whenever we come here!!”

She performed the necessary steps to engage corporate to reverse shipping charges on the incorrect order and obtained the expired sale price on the reorder. She did all of this with a big, welcoming smile on her face greeting arriving customers while she waited on the phone. She's amazing. Everyone should shop here!”
