They are terrible at returns, after months of calling, the customer service department finally send me a (short) gift card. In store they assured me I could get a full refund if necessary.

The customer service was excellent, thank you Sam. I have shopped in store in Edina, MN and also shopped online. I have purchased at least 10 different types of clothing and other items which all had the same top notch quality. Sam was able to assist me in finding a duffle bag which he had in store and offered to ship it for free. I was very impressed with the customer first approach and the quick shipping options. Check locally before ordering on line. We need to keep quality stores in our neigborhoods.

The clothes may be a little spendy but are a good investment because the always look good on my husband and fit well. The Alaskan Guide shirt is a winter staple. My husband has two and he wears them more than any others in our Minnesota winters.

I purchased a wool jacket online, size L, which turned out to be too big. Went into the store and was able to determine an M Long was better (by trying on L Long and M sizes), though they didn't have any in stock at the time. Unfortunately, the corporate customer service I contacted wouldn't do an exchange and wouldn't honor the price I'd gotten when originally purchasing the L with a discount code with a return and re-purchase... But I contacted the store and they said no problem, bring it in and we will do the exchange. Even called me back same day to say they just received a M Long and had set it aside for me. I will be doing my shopping in-store from now on - staff is always helpful & friendly and I know they will take care of me as a customer.

Great products, horrible customer service. Luckily there are other great products made by different companies. After my latest experience at Filson in Edina I’ll no longer wear Filson gear again.
