Being new to the Minneapolis area, I was looking for someone to trim my hair. After reading the reviews, I decided on Bridget's studio. Big mistake! The salon was nice and I told her that I just wanted 2 inches off of the back and the sides trimmed. I should have known when she put all of my hair on top of my head and then started cutting the sides. Every time I have had my hair cut, they start with the back so you can match the sides with the length of the back. As she was cutting, I mentioned a couple of times that she was going too short but she continued to cut. When she finally put my hair down to cut the back, you could clearly see that she messed up. The sides were at least 6 inches shorter than the back! Instead of stopping to discuss what should happen, she just continued to cut the back. My hair that was almost to my waist, at the end of the cut was just past my shoulders. I realize that it is just hair, but that was years of growing my hair out. During my appointment, her next appointment showed up, and in front of me, she told the guy that she was running late because I was a new client and I didn't tell her that I had long hair. I booked online! It was very unprofessional to blame me for her poor time management. If you are booking appointments online, then you should have different options of either a long hair cut, or a short hair cut like most professionals have on their websites if that determines how long you need between appointments. To top it off, when she handed me the tablet to pay, she said "I add a 20 percent tip to my fee". A tip should not be mandatory! Especially when my hair was cut at least 6 inches shorter than we discussed, the sides were noticeably uneven with one side a lot shorter than the other. If you have long hair that you would like to keep long, I would not recommend going here.

Bridget's Salon is a private oasis! When I moved to Minneapolis a year and a half ago only one person had cut and colored my hair my whole life so I was super nervous about finding someone new and avoided getting my hair cut. Once I found Bridget, I decided I would never go anywhere else! She takes the time to give you exactly what you want with high quality products! She isn't just giving you a haircut, she's making sure your hair is well taken care of! I would recommend Bridget to everyone!

Bridget is absolutely amazing! She is very professional and did a great job with my hair color. She patiently tried to understand the look that I wanted and suggested whats the best. She meticulously defined my balayage highlights and I couldn't be happier! I would definitely recommend her.

I love how Bridget cuts my hair. I have very coarse, wavy hair and she knows just how to handle it. She texturizes it and cuts it in a way that makes it manageable for me. Plus, I still like the cut as my hair grows out. Bridget keeps up with the latest styles and hair cutting techniques. She also knows a lot about products that are just right for all different types of hair. She is super personable and friendly. Her prices are comprable with other salons but she's a cut above all the rest! I highly recommend her :-)

This is more than a job for her, it's an experience to work with a true professional.
