I wouldn't normally rate this so low but a recent circumstance warrants it. A loved one was diagnosed with Covid and I came here to pick up his prescription for paxlovid and the pharmacy was closed at 11am, on a Sunday. Not for lunch but for the whole day. So I call this morning to see when they open. They don't. It's a holiday. Look, everyone deserves time off but this is a pharmacy, not an accounting firm or a print shop. People are trying to pick up prescriptions sent here. It's not like there is an option to go pick up the meds somewhere else. It's prescribed medication, not over the counter. They should at least have some limited hours.

The allow people to sit in the drive up window, causing major delays. It's not professional.

I've had two positive experiences here at this Pharmacy. The first time, the employee called around to find me my prescription and called me back to help me find a store that had it available. The 2nd time, they filled it in 15 minutes for me. Shout out to the Pharmacy staff. thanks very much! :)

I own a hybrid smartwatch and a smartwatch. When I travel, I prefer the former. It runs on a battery that last roughly seven months and I don't have to worry about charging it. What's cool is that I get an alert saying that it's running low. While in the Twin Cities, that alert popped up. My hybrid smartwatch was at 22% battery life. I had two options. I could revisit the Fossil store at the Eagan outlet mall and get it replaced there. The other option would be to find a place that sells a replacement battery. The latter was the better option. Get me back into that Fossil store and I'd probably get another smartwatch. I did a search and found this Walgreens three minutes away from the hotel by car. The next day, I went there after having breakfast. This Walgreens has a lot of parking. I backed my rental car into a spot and walked in. Even though I had never been to this store, the layout is typical for Walgreens. I headed over to the battery section to check it out. I wish that my local Shoppers Drug Mart and Rexall had a decent battery section like this Walgreens. The last time I needed the same type of battery, they both let me down. I ended up finding it at Staples. I found the battery size that I needed immediately. I was elated! I also appreciated a battery sizer. You can bring your battery in and match it up to figure out the exact type. After finding what I needed, I did a lot of browsing. I got stuck in the Christmas sales aisle. I swear that I wanted to buy everything. The Nerds guys looked cute in their Santa hats. I contemplated getting flashing LED earrings to annoy folks around me. The small Squishmallows were adorable. I had to pass on everything, as I didn't have all that much space left in my luggage! However, I did get a small, cute M&M's Christmas tree LED gadget. It plays a Christmas tune and lights up. It was $2 and comes with milk chocolate M&M's The cashier was great. I entered my phone number to take advantage of collecting rewards towards a cash discount (I'm so close!). It was easy! I paid using a credit card. I got my watch battery and thanked him. I got into the car and actually did the watch battery replacement there. I just needed a quarter and some patience. Thank goodness the packaging wasn't horrible to take the battery out. I was thrilled that I didn't have to head back to my hotel room to get my small pair of scissors. My hybrid smartwatch was back in business. Yay! This Walgreens is now my favourite one in the Twin Cities. I'm continuing my drug store tour with every visit. (29)

Every time I've picked up a prescription there are issues. Went to pick up and pressed the call button in drive thru and a woman was sassy and said welcome we'll be right with you. Minutes passed and finally a guy who may have been a manager came to find the prescription. Then he didn't realize it didn't have insurance added and looked confused when I handed him the insurance card. He disappeared for a while then I watched him helping someone else. We waited more. Eventually he came back and we got the prescription. It took twenty minutes from the time we got to the window to when we were able to leave with the simple prescription order. It would have been quicker just to drive to Edina at that point.
