I had a great experience today at the Eden Prairie location. Erica was my stylist. First she gave me a root touch up with the perfect color to cover my grey and then a fabulous cut and style. I was absolutely thrilled with the outcome and she was just amazing to work with. She was also very professional and fun to chat with. And let's not forget she gave the most incredible shampoo! Thank you, Erica!

Heads up, if you’re not white they won’t help you. Walked around the store for like 30 min trying to find a hair supplement for my mom. No one acknowledged us. Then when I saw an employee coming towards us she avoided us and proceeds to help a white lady.

My mom and I had THE best experience shopping today with Kim L! She was so knowledgeable about all the different products and had great recommendations on what to buy. She’s very personable & fun to work with, and even went out of her way to do my mom’s makeup which was so kind!Ask for Kim when you go in- she will show you the best new products and you will have a blast working with her!

The Eden Prairie Ulta store is spacious and beautiful. The staff is friendly and helpful. I usually go to the Richfield store, which is smaller and older, but they are both nice stores with great products. I do wish they would carry more inexpensive, plastic headbands. There are fewer of them to choose from since the pandemic. There are fewer choices of elastic and cloth headbands also. Some choices are much narrower in the post pandemic world.

I got my hair cut and colored by Kalie a little less than a week ago and I’m absolutely obsessed with it :) She did an amazing job and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out! The second picture was taken yesterday after the first wash.

Really nice employees! Had my favorite foundation get discontinued and had no idea what to replace it with. However, because of the kind employees here I was given a great recommendation and found the right shade. Great to have a place where one doesn’t have to feel judge so I highly recommend!

Wow! What a wonderful employee you have in Kim at the Eden Prairie location! We were so blown away and impressed with her skills, knowledge and sincere desire to find the products we were looking for. She is an amazing artist and listened to all the needs we had. She pleased 3 generations that all had questions. We never felt rushed or pressured to purchase anything! So thankful that it was Kim that helped us. She was a day brightener for sure! Beautiful woman - inside and out! Please give that woman a bonus - she deserves it!!!

My daughter and I were in the store for like 45 minutes and not one person talked to us. There were employees everywhere but certainly not helping people. Our cashier was super dry, and I walked away with nothing except for what my daughter bought. I needed help with foundation and brow makeup. There was literally zero friendliness here. I'm going back to Sephora!

Unfortunately, we probably will not be back to this location. My daughter received gifts, and one was a perfume that she has wanted for a very long time. We had to bring it back due to a default of the tube, and they could not find her receipt through the phone number or the email. The manager didn't really seem to be concerned that the screw on to this perfume had a major default. When taking the lid off the whole top comes off. Leaving the bottle and cap protion to be loose. Purchase was on a Monday and Wednesday, the tube was completely empty, which had split all over her bag and leaked through all the way to her sweatshirt, which now has a stain on it. Being in the service industry, I know that the salons that I worked for and am currently at would have definitely at least exchanged the product. I ended up purchasing a new tube of perfume. If the manager, Stacy, would have exchanged the product, I would have purchased the full size to be on the safe side of defaults in the tube.

If you're into makeup or scents, this is a great place to shop! Lots of variety. I find it a little pricey, but you get what you pay for! Higher quality.

I had no idea there was a Salon at Ulta! I made an appointment with Erika after hearing so many amazing things about her. She did a fantastic job - she cut a few inches off my very long hair, framed my face and left me feeling SO good. She's also the sweetest and I felt like I was talking to an old friend. Can't wait for my next haircut!! <3

I never knew there was a Hair Salon inside of Ulta Beauty but I do now! I was told about this fact so I wanted to check it out and I was not disappointed.. very knowledgeable and trained in hair! I definitely say try it if you're looking for a new place.

If I could give this zero stars I would. And I’m really not someone to write reviews but this was bad.. The store was relatively empty when I entered about 20 minutes before they closed. My friend and I were not greeted. And we weren’t asked if we needed help with anything until we had already been there for 15 minutes. The first interaction I had in the store as I was browsing the aisle, was by an older plus-sized woman. She stopped to tell me that they would be “closing in a few minutes”. It sounded weird to me because I had specifically picked this store because it was close by and would give me ample time to shop. I checked my phone and realized I still had about 17 minutes before the store would be closing. I ended up walking in circles as the store sat empty unable to get the help to find what I needed until an employee asked me about 4 minutes before close if I needed help. Not only was my shopping experience unpleasant and unfriendly; but I also overheard an interaction another Black shopper was having where the employee (the same employee I’d first interacted with) told her that they were closed and that the product she was looking for “was all the way in the back of the store”. The employee then continued on to insinuate that it was out of this person’s price range. Overall, as a Black woman I felt very unwelcome in the store. Spending money at stores like Ulta is not cheap, as skincare in generalIs not cheap. It shouldn’t be a luxury to be treated with decency.

I went to the Ulta in Eden Prairie last week and received such excellent customer service. The ladies were so nice and made sure I was well taken care of!
