We live in Fargo and if I didn't know what good customer service is at a Scheels.. I would never come back to a scheels store.. This is awful customer service and makes Walmart look 10x better

I bought a st. Croix legend tournament bass rod and not even a week and broke off while casting. Took it back to scheels and manager not able to get it refund or replace a new one. I haven’t even past the 14 days return, they told me to go through st. Croix which even more complicated because st. Croix hasn’t even contact me about my other broken rod. The guy work at the fishing department said the rod look smashed but for your information look at the pictures below. You’re wrong!! I will never buy anything from scheels again.

Got what i needed & got a price match because i found the same product online for cheaper. It was a long line at check out but it went pretty fast

By a LANDSLIDE the worst online order pickup, and worst fishing staff I’ve ever dealt with in my entire life for fishing equipment. I waited all of 30 minutes for these guys to find my graph mount I had just purchased that they said was in stock, then all of a sudden wasn’t sure if it was in stock, then miraculously was in stock again if you’re following me. After 30 minutes (which should’ve been no more than a 5 minute ordeal since it was nowhere near busy ) I took it upon myself, walked up the stairs to the fishing section, and saw the manager who went to get it just mingling with another co worker with my graph mount in his hand. “Oh yeah sorry about that I was on my way down.” Buddy looked like he saw a ghost. I know this kind of treatment would never happen at Thorne Bros, and I know this kind of treatment would never happen at Reeds. If you’re in the metro head to Thorne. I tried saving a buck on my way home from work, but never again will I ever step foot in another Scheels after today. Do Better.

Jonah the floor manager at Fuzziwigs candy factory inside of Scheels is absolutely amazing. He goes above and beyond no matter how busy he is to make sure everyone has a fantastic experience. He went and made samples after giving us some samples and provided them to everyone else around the establishment. This made people feel more invited and made everyone want to spend more money including us. Scheels in general has almost everything you need and is a fun place to go with your kids or just by yourself. THANKS JONAH! YOU ROCK!

Lots of things to do. The store has equipment for every sport imaginable. It also has a nice entry presentation. The staff were constantly asking if I was okay and if I had any questions or needed help. Super family friendly place. Big bonus was the store is connected to many other stores in a mall. You can waste half a day in here easy.

I had gone with my family for shoe shopping at the Eden prairie location in MN. In the beginning there was no Associate to help. After a while a young lady came and after talking to us and we explaining what we were looking for and the shoe size she said she will be back. After standing for 5 minutes she came out and totally forgot about us and started attending to someone else and even did not acknowledge us at all. We started looking around on our own and after 10 minutes she came back to us without any apology. When my wife confronted her about her totally ignoring us, she started showing attitude towards my wife. At that point we were done with getting any kind of service from her and requested to be helped by a different Associate. She pointed to someone else to help us. We went to shoe shop at women’s and kids department and all 3 departments had a dodgy service.
We were the only different colored people in the entire store and we wonder if that played any part in the kind of dodgy service we experienced.
This Store definitely has a lot of work to do with their staff on customer service.

Store is like an amusement park. They have everything for every sport.
I found getting help in the bike department to be difficult. No one wanted to help me, or there were too few employees.
