Today I went to get an oil change and the guy to the right, right when you walk in was extremely rude. I had a simple question and instead of trying to help he responded in a beyond rude way of you need to know who your service person was when you dropped off the car. This was my first time ever here and can not believe how rude and unprofessional tat guy was

I Purchased my first Ford from Mark and Mike at Metropolitan Ford Eden Prairie today. I have been itching to get into a pick up after nearly a decade of owning Jeep Wranglers (I like my vehicles fun & capable). I Did my research and knew I wanted a Ford F-150 (Tremor). I went to two other ford dealers closer to home that were quick to suggest special ordering the truck I wanted which can take 6-8 months. This is less than ideal when you're ready to make a purchase and know what you want. Instead at Metropolitan Ford, Mark and Mike helped me track down the exact truck I wanted that day! Even though they didn't have it in their lot, they went miles to make sure I was able to get into the vehicle I wanted (300 miles to be exact)! What was going to take 6-8 months through my local dealer took 3 days with these guys at Metropolitan Ford (Friday-Monday). I had it by the next business day! Setting foot into this dealership I knew what my trade was worth and to my surprise Mike gave me a number that I knew was fair. ZERO of the dreaded back and fourth that I was ready to have to deal with. That was a definite first for me with a car dealership. I very rarely (basically never) feel the need to write a review of my experience towards businesses but the buying experience I had at this dealership was worth taking the time to do so. If you know what you want these guys will track it down. If you aren't sure, they will be patient and helpful when making your decision. Ask for Mark L if you want an experience like mine at this dealer. 5/5

Do not buy/lease from this dealer! Attempted to get a fair price with a new vehicle lease and was told that they can’t match a competing dealer’s price due to “how rare the vehicle is.” For reference it’s an F-150 Lariat with a black package. Shop around and buyer beware….
Wow- incredible, aggressive and unprofessional response to my accurate review. To be clear, I AM purchasing from the competing dealer. The reason I wanted to give Metropolitan Ford a chance, is because the other vehicle will not be in stock for a few weeks as the build is being completed. I can post the lease sheets and further evidence from my situation with you, if you really want to go that route. I rarely write a negative review and always reward a great experience.
This was NOT a great experience and it reflects in the dealers response!

I made an appointment with the understanding that I was getting a quote for repairs. I had a Ford Explorer with one piece of door trim missing and the same piece of trim on the other side hanging by the electrical (driver’s side with security panel). The assessor was cold as can be and told me they have no formal way of providing quotes. So I'm just supposed to pay whatever you say on the spot without thinking twice? He looks at the driver’s side door and says we need to replace this part. I noted that the part is clearly still there and asked if we could reattach it. He said they have nothing to reattach it with (????) and that they’d need to take the whole door apart to replace it ($170/hr labor plus $300+ for a needless new part). By this time I don’t trust anything this guy is saying so I go talk to the guy at the parts desk. He was super helpful and the only reason this isn’t a hard 1-star review. When I walked back to my car to leave, they were getting it ready for the mechanic to start assessing it ($170/hr). I was like please get out of my car then drove away. I can’t help but wonder if I’d be taken a fool like this if I was a middle-aged man. I did the trim job myself for $175 (including replacing the missing part) and 3 hours of work. I was informally quoted more than a grand.

My husband and I came in here to purchase a new vehicle. Jon was the sales rep we met with to discuss. He only introduced himself to my husband, and did not introduce himself to me, so my husband had to do it. Throughout the entire meeting, Jon ignored me the entire time and only eye made contact with and talked to my husband. He asked my husband all the questions about the vehicle, and didn’t once ask me what I was looking for, even though this was a vehicle for both of us. Even when it came to talking finances, he put the sheet in front of my husband and only talked to him. When he went to introduce us to the finance manager, he only remembered my husband’s name and didn’t even know mine. We were both turned off by this experience. I found that I completely lost interest after a short while because it was like I wasn’t there.
I wish I remembered his name, but I believe it was the finance manager that came in at one point, and he was so much better. He made eye contact with me, asked me questions about what I was looking for in a vehicle, had the finance talk with both of us, and talked to me like I was an equal contributor.
At the end, we decided to take our business elsewhere where I felt respected by the salesman.

I have been servicing my Ford trucks at Metropolitan Ford for 21 years. The longevity speaks volumes. This was the first time, however, that I purchased a vehicle from them. It was an absolutely stellar experience. I had a specific F-150 that I was looking for, and Patrick O’Bryant found the exact truck for me in Tennessee. He proved his worth many times over. Working with Patrick was a no nonsense, no stress process- no BS or gamesmanship. A straight and transparent relationship. I couldn’t speak more highly of Patrick, and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking to buy a vehicle.
