Pharmacy staff is great and very helpful. I would avoid lunch hours because the lines at that time could get quite long.

The employees here are consistently helpful and friendly. This goes for every single department from the pharmacy to automotive. I cannot say enough good things about the pharmacy. They fill your prescriptions quickly and accurately, and are always looking for ways to save your money. This location is like most other locations. They don't have a liquor store because Eden Prairie has municipal stores. Other than that, it's a typical Costco. I bought tires here for my VW. Great price on a full set of Michelins. I have had zero issues with the tires or installation. I would totally recommend Costco to buy your tires. For $60 a year, this membership is a bargain.

Prices are pretty good, but always check GoodRX first, because sometimes you can get an even better deal. Staff is not great or very helpful in my experience, and the store is always busy. I honestly hate filling prescriptions here, and only go because I rarely need meds and the prices are better.

I was looking for the Costco monopoly game at $9.97. 2 Costco stores are sold out. I called, and the person said they had 87 in stock. Score! I bought 3 games. The checkout lines were super long. I did self checkout. The gas pump lines were long as this Costco only has 2 pumps in each aisle, not 3. This Costco is too far away to be my Costco. I was on my way home from St Cloud. Super busy on a sunday. 4/5 as their gas pump area was awkward and 2 pumps on each row, made for much longer waits.

I've never had a bad experience at this pharmacy. Staff are always pleasant and fast. The line formation is the worst part of this facility; it quickly descends into chaos and uppity mumbling as the only available waiting area awkwardly blocks shopper traffic nearest the pharmacy counter.

I've always enjoyed this location, the parking is generally easy to get into/out of and this is my preferred gas location too! I will say the holiday season makes it a lot more hectic than I prefer, but that's just par for the course. I really just wanted to give kudos to the front end manager who replaced an item that I had left behind. I still don't know if I left it in the cart or register, but she replaced it without question. Definitely brightened my day!

This is an updated review of the Optical Store in Eden Prairie - my first review was based on my early experience. Plus I didn't want my review to skew the overall Costco rating. After I contacted the corporate office, the manager of the EP Costco optical was open to working with me. I was very pleased when I met with her, to learn she'll start from scratch rather than have me keep 2 pair of glasses I don't wear as the lenses aren't right.

If you've been to 1 Costco, I feel like you've been to them all. I have only been to 2 Costco stores in my life and don't have a very large field to base this off of. This store was clean, organized and had just the right amount of sample carts for my taste. This is too close to my house for me not to shop here and choose not to drive the extra 10 miles for Sam's Club.

Bad pharmacy. I don't think they care about the quality customer service. They just care they get paid

Fairly busy location no matter what time you decide to shop. Dedicated staff, me being a first time member, the process is clunky. The website gives instruction on how to obtain your member card but the experience is different when you arrive. Overall, you can find magnificent deals and items here. The product that is on the shelves are mighty, I learned that if they don't have an item, they just don't have it. Customer culture is fast paced, when you're in the connecting aisles, move fast and get to the isolated aisles so you can browse at your own pace. Spacious, you'll have room to move around but the amount of people that are shopping along side you can make it feel tight. I will return and see if I experience something else. Bad eye doctor. Good place to get glasses, if your bring in your Eye Rx from a good eye clinic. Does not offer all glasses options, like tinted gradient lens (for sun or driving glasses). But have had good luck with transition lens that get darker in sunlight. Bi Focal lens made to specs (like segment height) are made correctly the 1st time. Very busy store, patience required. I try to visit off hours; if any :)OLDER: Costco Optical Dept. The eye doctor at Costco was more interested in updating my prescription (to sell glasses) than in assessing the health of my eyes. That COSTCO can sell you new glasses. Eye doctor updated my prescription at a cost of almost $200 billed insurance. When driving the car dashboard was fuzzy with new CostCo glasses; Also long distance eye strain after a few hours of use. Old glasses still worked fine. CostCo doctor bumped up the power of the new prescription and made one eye stronger. This caused problems. Finally went to real eye clinc and their prescription identical to my old glasses which had remained the same for 6+ years before going to CostCo. So CostCo just wasted $200+ of my money and insurance $ that paid for the doctor visit but not the glasses.

Got to experience a Karen check out person today that would not let my wife check out on joint card. Said I needed to be in the store and pay with my card. She stopped ringing up midway through and told her if I wasn't there they wouldn't allow her to keep going. They then called the manager over while holding up the line embarrassing her. She then thought it was a good time to make chit chat and tell me my wife how she should have her own cheap membership so she could get points on her own. When I got inside they never asked to see my ID to confirm who I was after they made a big deal over carding her and saying my wife's husband need to pay for her. What kind of trash customer service is this?! You make a big deal over all of this and then don't even "do you job" to back up your reasoning for stopping my wife makes no sense. This Karen was on a power trip and it was poorly executed with nothing backing it up.
