Avoid. Scammers. Tried to charge 2K for an outboard install after spending 16k to buy it. Was originally quoted $400 for the install. found another company that did it for $600. Thats a $1400 difference. Gross overcharge. Do your business elsewhere.

I reached out to Boat World to inquire about a "new" 2023 model tri-toon they had listed on their website.
Although they DID answer my questions they didn't seem very friendly and it felt as if I was "wasting their time" by asking questions about the boat and how it was stored before I made the 1,000mi journey to see it. They also were incredibly stubborn on the price refusing to do much negotiating at all.
Reading these reviews the service seems to be a recurring issue especially with the owner. His childish ranting replies to customer reviews on here is off-putting and unprofessional. I'd expect an owner of a business to conduct themselves better even if the customer has made a mistake. I also have no problem lowering my star rating and adjusting this review if it's met with the same hostility as I won't tolerate it.
One big thing to keep in mind if you're not local is that Montego Bay requires warranty work to be performed at an authorized dealer like Boat World. There are FEW aitherized dealers for Montego Bay outside of Minnesota / Wisconsin. It will be YOUR responsibility and cost to bring the boat to them for warranty work. That ultimately along with the less than friendly vibe is why I chose to buy a boat the other day from a local dealer that treated me friendly and can do warranty work for the Bennington I purchased. They even threw in a free trailer without me asking. Something Boat World said they wouldn't do when asked.

Steve and all his associates were great. Im 1100 miles away and bought a boat without a trailer near them and they picked my boat up same day, loaded it on a trailer i purchased from them, made sure everything inside was secure for long trip and I had a driver pick it up the next day from their location and deliver it to me. It arrived and everything was exactly as I asked them to do. Thanks again!!

I requested a quote for a Pontoon guard wrap and the installation of an anchor. The work was done on time, the quotes were fair, and the work was solid. I read several negative reviews so I felt compelled to write a positive one since people tend to only write reviews when things don’t go well with a business. Jim took care of me, we had good communication and the whole process was smooth. Highly recommend.

I recently purchased a pontoon from these guys, totaling 20k with the trailer. After 2 months of light use. The Oil pump failed and completely destroyed the motor. I am now out 20k on a lemon that was sold to me. Be careful doing business with these guys and maybe have an outside mechanic check over your purchase!

I bought a new Princeton pontoon and had a very good experience. This was my first time buying a new boat from a dealership. The website is excellent and pictures are far better than any other dealer I've seen. I shopped around online and Boat World pricing was also excellent. Jim was very responsive to my initial questions over email and phone. When I came in to make the purchase, I did not give them any advance notice, but they made it possible for me to leave the same day with the boat, by setting it up for me the same day. Louis was great with the final walk through and answered my questions. At no point did I ever feel pressured to spend any money I didn't want to spend. There was no upselling with options, additions etc. They are pretty hands off in this respect, which made me feel comfortable. All in all a great experience buying a boat. I'd recommend them to anyone.

WOW. Went there at noon on Feb 28th to ask a question about where a certain hose connection goes on a Yamaha 90 outboard as it became disconnected last year and I’m not sure where it should be attached. Let me first say that I bought a nearly $40,000 pontoon there in 2021. Anyhow, they retrieved the service person. I showed him a picture of the motor and he said it probably goes into the tell-tale for the motor. Asked him if I could take a look at one they have to see exactly where it goes and that’s where he became super agitated. Telling me I need to bring it in for service!; they don’t even sell Yamahas!; etc., etc. After expressing disbelief at his reaction, I told him I did look up their reviews on Google and shouldn’t be surprised at their horrible ranking (check it out, in particular the service dept.). Note that when I did buy pontoon three years ago, the salesman was awesome. Maybe there is new ownership or management since then. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere for service, even if you bought from there. The guy didn’t have a name badge on, but as an FYI he’s a little chubby dude with a beard. Maybe it’s just his personality, but after spending a lot of money there, you would hope you are more than a dollar sign to them. They may deny this happened, but just look at their other reviews and their reply’s. There’s a pattern here…..
