“This place is wonderful! So much great stuff. Some of the items were priced at flea market prices. BUT they happily negotiated with us on we bought :) I wish I lived closer because I would go there all the time. They are so nice!”

“It's an excellent place to fix your clothing. I took my purse and down jacket (both had some zipper issues), and after that, another store wanted to overcharge me. The two young men working there were amiable, and they took a look at my down jacket and were able to fix the zipper in 5 minutes. As for my purse, I left it there for about a week, and they called me when it was ready to pick up. I was thrilled with the result, and the fees were very reasonable. I think it would be a good idea to repair the lair. Good job, and Thank you.Update as 03/2024:I used their service again recently. The rate has gone up, but it's understandable. I took a winter extra-long jacket to replace the zip. They were able to fix it in a few days. They have moved to a new location, but the service is still on the same stand. I recommend them.”

“A Rare Bird is so special, and we're fortunate to have this shop in Minneapolis. Kelly, the owner, has the most exquisite taste and the shop is always beautifully merchandised with unique things. Always worth a visit!”

“The vibes in this store are immaculate! Their used records are also sorted which is a huge plus. Selection can be more on the pricier side in comparison to other thrift stores since it seems like they want to keep all of their stuff to look really cool. The person working was also friendly and let us browse the front without any issues. Overall a solid place to stop!”

“I stopped in for the first time in search of some 1970s hockey cards and memorabilia. Cal greeted me and helped with my search. Although I didn't find what I was looking for, I left with a few baseball cards and wax packs that were too good to pass on. A fun trip down memory lane. I'll be back soon to sift through more cards, chat with Cal, and enjoy the cozy shop. An absolute gem of a place.”

“Order laundry detergent and bleach from here. The products literally saved old coverlets that had developed a putrid smell during storage. Brava to those products.”

“drinking coffee out of a cute lil cup while walking through here is an ideal way to spend a weekend morning. Prices are fair, and the inspiration is priceless. lots of cool things like wooden fish, fiber art, tv trays, random cool vintage fabrics, and all sorts of puzzling kitsch.”

“Trying on dresses with Nikolina was the highlight of my wedding dress search. Even my less vintage-inclined friends were impressed with her incredible design knowledge and the vision she cast for modifying each piece to create my own personal aesthetic. She was so fun to work with! Shopping through their selection does require some imagination, but as someone who loves envisioning possibilities, this was half of the adventure. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to create a personal and unique vintage dress or revive a historical piece with sentimental value - you won't regret taking the time to imagine with Nikolina.”

“I've been to Turn Style twice in the past year, specifically for decorative home goods. While the store isn't overly large, they have a solid collection of decor pieces, all arranged by color. Additionally, they have little room setups with couches, pillows, etc nicely arranged. It's very well organized and makes it easy to find things. Turn Style also carries larger furniture, such as couches and dining sets. They all seem to be in nice condition. While I've never shopped for clothes or brought items in for consignment, I did notice that they have many racks of clothing for sale that look nice! Staff seem nice enough and parking is easy. I'll definitely be back!”

“Great place to shop for used children's items. I went the second to last night of the Woodbury JBF Sale and was pleasantly surprised at how much inventory was left. I'll be back!”

“Great place- lots of exceptionally old items (If you're looking for 1910s, '20s or '30s, this is THE place). Prices are pretty good- Kevin keeps the store well organized and there is usually a good amount of rotation.”

“I'm going on a cruise next week and was looking for business casual and fancy dresses for dinner attire. At first I didn't think they had anything in my size. I'm 2xl and size 18. Towards the back they have two rows of plus size clothes. It's a cute store but wish they had some bigger sizes. Not sure if that's really their fault with it being a consignment shop. I did find 2 pairs of dress pants so left mostly happy. I noticed they had a lot of other things in the store besides clothing and accessories. I didn't have time this visit but will be going back to check other items like a couch, chairs, home decor, etc.”

“I felt I had to write a good review and defend Great Northern.Sure, it's an older place, with fun, quirky older people (and cats) hanging about..it's the real deal. I thought the owner was very kind, chatty and happy to see others interested in the hobby. I mentioned I was looking for a Philco Predicta television, and he led me to his storage area, and sold me one for $45 ...far beneath the market price. I see other reviews saying he charged more for an unfinished radio than a finished one, but guess what..unfinished (unmolested) radios can be worth more to collectors than glossy refinished ones... he is straight up in his pricing, and he is right..you can spend quite a bit of money restoring a radio.. it's a lot of specialized work that few people can do now.. I am a mid- level collector and hope he is around for years to come.”

“I can always find a fun unique piece when I stop by June. The customer service is amazing and extremely helpful when browsing their new picks. I feel so welcomed by all of the staff, catering to trying things on and helping pick out great gifts. Some of my favorite forever pieces have come from June. I would definitely recommend to any designer or quality secondhand lovers!”

“I love visiting here, the Arc Value Village Bloomington. I love looking at the shoes, the puzzles, the peripheral of the store. I'm not one to look at the clothes necessarily. I love the office supplies, and Knick knacks. It is interesting that I was just at Arc Value Village Richfield earlier today, and they're greeting cards were only $0.25 each , and I came down here to Bloomington Arc Value Village and their greeting cards are 3 for a $1.99. I took several pictures to let you enjoy what I saw today, February 29th, 2024. Leap day! Everybody was so nice at checkout, the gentleman put my basket away for me. Don't forget to sign up for the rewards, it's just with your phone number! After so many points you do earn a $10 off reward! And you can increase that reward by donating bags or boxes of clothing or whatever you have to donate!”

“I love this place! Always new stuff to look at. Greeting cards and art and other great goods from local artisanal makers. Tons Surprising vintage books, jewelry, home decor, furniture. A one-of-a-kind store! (if I could, I’d give a bonus star for the store cat)”

“It's a great store with great stuff. I feel like most of their things are overpriced, still a good deal as you do find treasures :) its one of the main ones that I go to”

“They have a new way of accepting clothes/items which I really find very easy. They have gone to a texting. I don’t go there often, but it seems far more organized!”

“I normally have extremely positive experiences, and sell here multiple times a week generally. I hope that this review reaches management as today my experience was not positive. I was the first one in the door at 11am when they opened- normally it’s about 15 minutes when I am the first one to sell. Today however they continued to go through multiple bins of other sellers clothes first. After waiting patiently for 25 minutes I noticed that they had not even began to look through my clothes, but had already finished 3 buys. I find this upsetting because I get there right as they open for a reason. When I asked the girl at the register how long I should expect she said she would do mine next, and would need about 25 minutes. I’m not sure if they had friends that they bought from first, but overall I’m disappointed. I still am giving them a 4 star review because 9/10 experiences here are positive- but not today.”
