Updated 07/09/23Thank You for resolving my issue swiftly. This store is the best and is the only shop open later in Eagan and probably the surrounding area. A very shrewd decision on the owners part! I will continue to bring my business here and recommend to all my friends and family. Thanks again United Tobacco and Vape #1! You guys are awesome.I stopped in 6/25/23 and purchased ecig juice. The store representative gave me the wrong strength and I did not realize until today 6/26/23 after refilling my vape this morning as my old juice was not quite out, just wanted a refill on hand. Stopped in after work and they were curt and ineffective in any solution to the problem. They said they don't have issues with product mix up. Are you sure? The hours are convenient but perhaps the long hours are contributing to simple mistakes they take no responsibility for and pass on the lost costs to their customers. Buyer beware.

I was a weekly customer for years, initially I had nothing but positive experiences. Most of the people who work there are quite pleasant, but the person who I believe is in a management role is often dismissive, quite cold if not outright rude. I chalked it up to my being a lame old dude all up in his feelings and tried to not take it personally. I continued being a patron of the shop. On my last visit (6/8/23) I purchased a “loon” disposable nicotine vape pen amongst other items (appx. $87 in total) when I opened the product the next day it was a complete dud. A quick google search revealed that sometimes the batteries are duds from the manufacturer. I thought “no big deal” I’ll just let them know the device was faulty and get a replacement. No. When I explained the situation to the clerks behind the counter (one of which was present when I had bought the unit initially) I was told “once you leave the shop there’s really nothing we can do” and “we have signs all over the place that say try it before you leave” I was flabbergasted, I couldn’t understand why a retailer would make a customer try a tobacco product indoors to see if it works. I was under the impression that as a customer I can assume that a retailer is selling me a functional product, and that a retailer will make reasonable accommodations when a product is sold in a non-functional state. I understand the business not wanting to open itself up to exploitation by unscrupulous people. I’m not a unscrupulous or unruly customer, just a guy who thought the vape pen he bought should work. Instead this business and it’s staff demonstrated it would rather keep my $18, lose a customer, and make the customer feel like a idiot for even enquiring that they replace a dud product purchased in good faith rather than replace the unit. I didn’t argue further as it seemed futile to try argue my case further. I took my business to Eagan Tobacco on pilot knob and was very happy with the service and selection. Despite it being much father from my house Eagan tobacco will be getting my business going forward. I won’t be going to United tobacco again and I’d encourage you to take your business elsewhere.

Do not buy anything electronic from this store. I've been there multiple times, no problems. I get a bad vape, come in the next day, and before I even say what's wrong or what I can do, I'm am told they don't do refunds. $50 down and that's what I get for going local instead of my usual. The way this was handled left a bad taste in my mouth. Wouldn't recommend. Anywhere else would give you a refund.

One of the better priced shops for glass and Delta 8 products. Any issue I've had has been resolved immediately. The staff is knowledgeable and are always smiling. Definitely a friendly place to go.
