Had the premier gun range experience! These guys are terrific and it shows. They are very proud of their club and take safety, education, and the shooting sports very seriously. Matt took the time to give me a tour of the whole place, and I look forward to spending more time there.

Rude staff who won’t even acknowledge your presence and say insensitive things to would be customers. The only good thing they have going for them is a nice building. Can’t comment on the range because I didn’t even make it that far. Will recommend The Modern Sportman and even BillsGs after the poor experience I had today.

It was my first time at stock & Barrel gun club. They were very welcoming especially Matt who was amazing when it came to renting a gun to us, and showing me how it worked. I was very nervous because it was my first time and Matt assured me it was going be fun and it was. Thank you and I will most definitely come back.

Just left there in my whole experience going to ranges never had this happen, was told I had to leave because I shot my 556 ar pistol without sights and was heckled by staff on my weapon I brought about home defense honestly I felt harassed and of course I’m black never going back again and honestly range size is limited tbh wish I saved my money and went to Bills.

This is absolutely, without a doubt the worst range/shop I have had the dissatisfaction of going to. The employees are very arrogant, uptight, disrespectful & passive aggressive. I went to their range a couple times, the first time being with my mother who has a fear of firearms & loud noises. They forced her to put in garbage 3M ear plugs that they charged $3 for??? What the hell? But that's not even close to my other experiences here. They charged us almost double the current price of 7.62 ammo. They charged us $40 for 20 rounds of 7.62, which in itself is just ridiculous! Then, they would not allow my mother, who as stated previously has a fear of firearms to stay in the lobby area while I used the range. Even though I was 18 years old at the time! They told me I had to have my mom present for me to purchase 7.62 ammo, which is a long gun cartridge because I was 18 & they didn't know the laws! They tried forcing me to believe that they knew what they were talking about & even after I showed them the Minnesota Statute on ammunition purchase age, they still denied me to buy ammo on my own! Don't even get me started on the employees though. First of all, they are all uptight & arrogant. They will try to belittle you because you are new to firearms & they are the "experts". Oh yeah, also they charge a SIX HUNDRED DOLLAR one time fee for a membership. What the actual hell? Do yourself a favor, travel the extra 20 minutes & go to The Modern Sportsman, please.

Not terribly helpful. It felt as though I was taking up his time until a regular walked in and the person behind the counter was done with me to sell a Mosin with a turned down bolt. They did have a Rapide that I wanted, but I did not need it, and already felt unwelcome so I went on my way. The industry as a whole is not good with customer service.

Wonderful gun store, as someone who took a conceal class at their location . It was clean and well serviced, even though I knew nothing about guns or their parts (new gun owner) they were very happy to explain how certain parts work . The only reason this isn't a 5 star review is because I was thinking of getting their membership , but the darn thing is about the same price as a gun! That being said, could be an industry standard . Overall I'd recommend the place to friends. The gun range was also decently priced and they were helpful in helping me feel confident in my shots.

Bob at the range desk is terribly unfriendly and comes off as kind of hostile. I've been here multiple times and haven't been greeted by anyone. Not sure if it's an employee personality thing or a race thing.The range does not automatically send targets down, so you'll have to rely on the lines across the ground. Not a big issue, but just mildly inconvenient.There's hardly ever an RSO in the range on weekdays. This hasn't been an issue yet.Firearm rental selection is poor. Not much to choose from when compared to other ranges such as The Modern Sportsman.Overall, this range is fine if you just want to get in, shoot, and get out.

Went for a social outing. The staff was extremely helpful to a beginner shooter. We were able to try 3 different types of guns and they helped us feel safe & comfortable.
