If you are looking for outstanding quality of care from experienced teachers within a reasonably priced daycare/ learning center, Look no further. I typically don’t write reviews on places where I receive ongoing services. But Small World Learning center deserves an exception as they exceeded our expectations in every category. Previously we changed 3 daycares within 1.5 years due to many many issues. Every school will have problems, what differentiates one school from the other is how soon those issues are being addressed. Thanks to the experience management here at small world.Here here are some key features we really likeParents access to child’s daily activity through an intuitive app, where you can see pictures videos the meal times. EtcIn-house cooked mealWell organized learning curriculumExperienced and well capable teachersChild’s regular evaluation and parent teacher meetingsDecent parkingConvenient locationVarious activities during summer for kids to enjoy the other times. This includes weekly, bounce house, soccer, Disney, dance, party, water day, movie day, ice cream truck, magic show, bike day, wildlife show.I would also like to address some areas of opportunities>> outdoor playground can use a makeover>> Limited hours of operation (although this doesn’t affect us, but I can imagine this can be an inconvenience for some parents. However, we also appreciate that the staff and teachers get to enjoy the summer days.>> unlike the big-name daycare’s, they do not have the luxury to operate within a shiny facility.We have seen measurable improvement in our child’s behavior and other skills. This wouldn’t be possible without their genuine effort.

Not the best center, management is shady and doesn’t care about the safety of kids or really anything… you should seek childcare elsewhere if Melissa is the director and Trinity is assistant director. There was an incident where a child had his head slammed into the brick wall by a staff member and they didn’t even bat an eye. They lied through their teeth in order to cover their tracks. Don’t apply to work here either, it’ll save you from being bullied for having decent morals and values. I worked there for about two months and within those two months I witnessed a staff member injure a child, throw things at the wall in the classroom, and essentially bully children for no reason. I spoke up and was shamed, bullied, and had my hours drastically cut from 40 hours to 0 in order for them to essentially manipulate me into quitting. I wouldn’t recommend this center to ANYONE who is seeking employment and/or childcare. Like the previous reviews state - completely unethical.

This school has had a lot of positive changes since the director and staff changes. The school is cleaner and better maintained, and the children's education has greatly increased. I would recommend this school to other families.

We were so happy with SWLC for nearly 2 years but recent leadership changes have impacted this location in a negative way. At the time we left (end of Jan 2023) there were a handful of very wonderful teachers that were still there from prior to the director change. Proceed with caution if Melissa is the director of this location.

We have had such a great experience at Small World Learning Center. The language and motor skills of our 3 year old son have blossomed at Small World. We appreciate the responsiveness and professionalism of the staff. Not to mention the updates and cute pictures posted on the app during the day! We highly recommend!

Our son LOVES going to school every day at Small World. All the teachers are so kind and genuinely care about all the kiddos that go there. 10/10 would recommend!

Our son has been at SWLC Eagan since June of 2021. We love everything about it, from the classrooms, to the teachers, to the greetings we get all around the building. We always feel so welcome! We especially love being able to see what our son is up to throughout the day and occasional pictures! Nothing makes me smile more then seeing our happy guy learn and play. Gavin the director is also very friendly and we can tell he sincerely cares about the well-being of the children.

Small World has been a great place for our 2 children. They have learned so much from the excellent teachers they have. They both adore all the staff there and are very excited each and every morning. Gavin, the director is always extremely helpful on any questions or concerns we may have. It is a clean learning space and can't thank the awesome staff enough for everything they do!

Our son has grown up at Small World and we continue to echo the same sentiments we had when he was an infant. Our son is excited to attend every day and we feel great knowing he is well cared for and is learning valuable skills and lessons every day. Continued thanks to the great staff at SWLC!As a new mom, choosing a daycare that I could trust was a top priority when planning for our son’s arrival. In the midst of a global pandemic, I was worried we wouldn’t be able to truly trust a place that we didn’t get to visit in person before sending him. However, Small World Learning Center in Eagan eased that worry. I felt confident about sending him from the first virtual tour. Their staff is friendly and reliable, they communicate well, and they’ve set up a fantastic program. I know my baby is learning every day, being cared for well, and is safe. Thank you to the staff for helping make this new mom’s transition back to work more comfortable and for helping our son grow!

Our family couldn’t be happier with Small Word Learning Center! Our son is in the preschool room and our daughter started in the pre-k room. When kindergarten shifted to distance learning, the staff was more than willing to support us in this new capacity. The flexibility this center provides is out of this world!! We've been so happy with the attention, care, and support that the teachers in every classroom have shown to our children.We’ve especially appreciated how much the teachers and school accommodate the individualized needs and desires of each child and family. The directors are amazing and always so responsive. They do a great job with communication and always provide lesson and meal plans well in advance. Small World Learning Center uses the Daily Connect App to provide our family with updates so we can stay connected by receiving photos, updates and messages from our children’s teachers throughout the day.The variety of nutritious meals is great our children are always happy with the breakfast, lunch and snack options that are prepared in house.Perhaps most importantly, though, is the learning and development that happens when our children are at Small World. Teachers put a strong focus on school readiness and it shows. We love that the programs & lessons used are Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (S.T.E.A.M.) Inspired. Our children come home excited to share new things they learned with us on a daily basis.We can’t say enough great things about Small World Learning Center and we are so happy that are children are enrolled there! Gavin is the best!!!!

We've been attending SWLC for over 3 years. We have no doubt our kids receive the love and attention they need to thrive. Every teacher we've interacted with is phenomenal, and the amount of growth we've seen in our children is impressive.Gavin is a delightful director, his passion for the children that attend is next level - and also makes it a very engaging place for the parents. His communication and sense of humor are great traits for working in this field. Their current lineup at SWLC is 5-star, would highly recommend.

Small World Learning Center has been awesome for my daughter! All of the directors and teachers have been incredibly friendly, flexible and helpful. I would highly recommend Small World Learning Center as a daycare provider. Adding: We now have two kids at Small World and we continue to love it here. Our kids feel truly loved here.

Very recently a bunch a new staff started including a new director. A new teacher Haley started working in the toddler room and I noticed she has the confederate flag tattooed on her arm and bumper stickers on her car, Very blatant racism and hate speech. My daughter is black and this made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. I told the new director Melissa and regional manager Cait how we felt and asked that she be moved from our child's room. They said they would handle it however Melissa called us back and said "I know it looks like the confederate flag but it's not it's just a band logo." Didn't take me long to google the meaning of the sticker on her car it's a white supremacists group. Melissa and Cait continued to say it wasn't the confederate flag to us and that there was nothing they could do so I had to pull my daughter out of their center. This is hate speech and Melissa and Cait knew about it and didn't care about how it impacted my family and did nothing about it. It is terrible and I will not being staying quiet about this!

Small World Learning Center is an AMAZING daycare. The entire staff is very caring towards every child and makes them feel extremely comfortable. When my son started he would cry at every drop-off and they would take the time to make him feel comfortable and safe. Ms. Norah would give him BIG hugs every morning and reassured him that he was going to have a great day. Every day he runs out saying how much fun he had at school. All the teachers are highly trained and committed to providing the best care and education for every child. Small World is a fun, clean center. My son just transitioned into the Pre-K classroom and their curriculum is helping him prepare for kindergarten. It's amazing to see how much my son has grown with the education he has received at Small World. Very excited that we found Small World Learning Center and would highly recommend!
