We have a few kids on ADHD meds and if you have had to deal with this- it's a headache at best. If you don’t have a competent and helpful pharmacy, it takes an already challenging situation and just compounds it. Cub has been great! They always go above and beyond to help. If they don’t have the med in stock, they will look and tell me a Cub location that does have it in stock- which saves me a lot of phone calls trying to find the med. They also have better hours than some pharmacies in the area. The only complaint I have would be the older gentleman pharmacist who far oversteps his position as a pharmacist and asks uncomfortable questions about why the prescription was prescribed for you and what you need it for. Don’t love being interrogated when picking up a prescription the doctor wrote for me. (Not a controlled substance or pun medication) Other than this man, we have had great experiences here!

Get better Customer Service!!!! Every time I stop in there to get groceries at that location there is a Customer Service employee- (Elaine) that is rude to me. But she is always talking really nice to fellow employees or customers that are in front of me or after me. I have been going in there for about 2-3 years and she treats me this way every time. One time she accused me of stealing a 24 pack of water.

For any of your pharmacy needs, Greg and Angie are truly the best. They both go over and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. It's always comforting to know they are there when we have a prescription pick-up and/or question.

I've seen a few reviews and am surprised. Dawn, Greg & Angie have always been attentive and friendly. They are consistently knowledgeable about the products, how to take them, etc. Excellent place to do business.

I went to the pharmacy to pick up an item and ended up waiting as their was only one employee working. There was another employee from what it appeared as. The two were talking with one another about friends family etc... chit chat between friends. they both made 'acknowledgement' of my present by looking at me and proceeded to continue their conversation which went on for quite awhile. The phone was brought out and pictures we shown between the too. At this point in time I had started to get annoyed as the pharmacy technician demonstrated she was not concerned with helping me until her and her friend had completed their conversation. Even when I thought the conversation had ended the technician decided to bring up an entirely different topic which kept things going. I must have stood their awkwardly for about 2 minutes but felt like an eternity. Finally she asked, "can I help you". Although being irritated by feeling disregarded as a customer I brushed it off and asked politely to purchase special needles for my visiting grandmothers insulin. Mind you I am no expert in this item, was given a set of information to repeat to the technician, and sent on my way. The pharmacist explained she would not sell them to me. I had been their a couple of months ago and had no issues as I know there are laws which do not allow pharmacies to deny someone from buying, although the individual working may. it is an archaic law and I could only help but feel that since I interrupted her conversation and inconvenienced her she decided to deny me from purchasing the product. I questioned her and she fumbled around with an answer about how I would have to wait until the morning etc. I let it go as I was already upset after my entire interaction. As I was leaving I asked for her name as she was not wearing a name badge or anything to recognize her of who she was or what her title was. With a snide 'matter of factually" tone she said her name was Carol and that."I could report her."
I am not writing a complaint because I was not able to purchase an item rather complaining because my entire interaction with Carol was unacceptable. There was an attitude of superiority to me as she was a senior citizen and portrayed the guise of an innocent old lady and that she was untouchable by repercussions after she threw out her 'report me' retort. How was I supposed to feel walking out of the situation? How I was supposed to react? Instead of going home I drove past my parents home and drove the extra half mile to Hy-vee and went into their pharmacy without any issues. This inst an,"I'm bringing my business to Hy-Vee now" jab at Cub Foods. This is a look at how one employee can negatively affect the experience someone had at your store and drive them to reconsider their shopping. I did not deserve to be treated as such by the employee, I felt a though myself as a customer was unimportant to Carol and based on that I correctly gauged my interaction with her. For me to take the time to compose this complaint exemplifies how distressed I felt after leaving your store. I am doing it through your medium in hopes that something is done to remedy this. The attitude displayed by the employee, especially her "I am untouchable" mentality is unfair to the customer as it feels as if I will never be treated properly when I go to your store. Thank you for taking the time to listen to my complaint.

I just had the worst experience at this pharmacy. Dawn was working and I was there for a flu shot. I filled out the paperwork that was on the table and approached the desk. She did not even ACKNOWLEDGE me! She was at the computer and I understand she was probably entering a Rx. She could have at least said I will be right with you or have a seat or anything. After 5 minutes, I said I just want to make sure you know I'm here! She said yes I'm filling a prescription. That was it! It only got worse from there. She finally came over and asked if I ever picked up Rx's there before. I said yep under my maiden name. She huffed and went back to the computer saying nothing to me~ I waited at least another 5 minutes without any communication from her. She could have said go ahead and shop or have a seat, etc.---nope nothing! I finally said I can come back when you're not so busy. She turns from the computer and says from across the phamacy--It takes me 10 minutes to enter the information. I said okay I wish you would have communicated that to me. I took my insurance card and informed her that I would be contacting her manager. What a horrible customer service experience!
