“My husband picked up an Australian Wagyu NY Strip MS9 to share for Valentine’s Day. Well, let’s be honest, he also grabbed a filet mignon so he didn’t have to share the NY strip. There’s no comparison. This is beef butter. Highly recommend this shop if you’re looking for a coveted, hard to come by, piece of meat. It was one of the best meals we’ve had in quite sometime. “We had Von Hanson's cater our wedding, and we couldn't be happier with the whole experience! Food was excellent! Service was excellent!I also want to make sure to mention that, even though they are primarily a butcher shop, they also provided some great vegetarian options for our friends and family who do not eat meat.I do not recall the names of the two people who worked our event. I was the groom, and got a lot of names thrown at me that day, but they were fantastic. For the owners, our event was on 9/16/23 at 6pm. The two people who worked it were amazing.”
“This would be a 5 star review, BUT the store manager in Lakeville is a complete asshat. I go to this location at least 1 time per week and have done so for 12+ years. Every single other team member has been great and are super friendly other than the store manager. He never is friendly, never says thank you, walks around playing on his phone, and answers questions very rudely. I feel bad for the people that work for him. I've also been to about 10 other Von Hanson's stores and have never had any issues. The ONLY asshat that I have ever had to deal with is the store manager at the Lakeville, MN store. I hope him and his ego trip will disappear sooner than later.”
