If I could give this business a negative rating I would. Budget as a whole company is running a scam and is fully of scam artists. I reserved a van 3 weeks prior to moving furniture from Minnesota to Florida thinking it would be more comfortable and easier to drive than a box truck. Plenty of time to make sure what was reserved was available or provide me with other options prior to picking up the vehicle. The van was approximately $500 more expensive. An expense I was willing to take on to have a more comfortable drive. When I picked up the vehicle they were out of vans but stated the box truck was bigger and drove similar to the van. I questioned the difference in the cost and was told I would have to call headquarters as there was nothing they could do about the difference. I had pictures from the website showing the difference in both prices. There was very little instruction on how to use the van. I didn't even think about not being able to see from the rear view mirror. No cruise control, very little head room and little to no ability to change the seat settings. I immediately contacted customer service and they said I needed to send an email. I did. The response was we can't do anything until you turn in the vehicle. Once I dropped off the vehicle in Florida, I was told there was nothing they could do and that the place I picked up the vehicle should have helped me. I responded to the email again and expressed my concerns and was given the runaround again. No one was accountable for helping their customers they were only worried about padding their pocketbooks. Beware of this scam company!

Easy, quick, affordable... had a little mix up with what location the truck was being picked up at but very easily and quickly fixed

Do not use this company, my client is closing is supposed to be selling his home today and purchasing another at the same time. He booked a truck with Budget and they called them this morning and stated they had to give his Truck to a commercial renter client of theirs! Obviously this has effected more than one person :-(

Do not use budget. They can cancel your reservation the day before you’re supposed to move to another state. And their customer service does nothing for you and they don’t even pick up the phone. When they forward you to loss prevention they will hang up on you. What kind of company is this? Use a company that can guarantee truck availability on the day you need it.

You have the absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced. I was called 24 hours prior to my pickup and told that I would not get the 26' truck I rented but a 16' truck. The woman I spoke to told me that I would get unlimited miles. When I went to pick up the truck, the person had no idea what he was doing an informed me that there was no such thing as unlimited miles. He said my total would be under $50. I was charged $111. When I called customer service, he told me there was nothing that can be done. I WILL NEVER USE YOU AGAIN AND I WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW NEVER TO USE YOU.

My experience here went very well. Even though they were having issues, they worked hard to get me my truck and did not overcharge when my moving day ran long (as moving days frequently do). They also gave me a number of discounts that made my rental very affordable. Would use again.

The worst truck rental I have ever dealt with! I will never rent another Budget truck from here or anywhere. I rented my truck for 3 days starting on a Wednesday at 12:34pm. I stated when ordering it online that it wouldn't be dropped off until 8pm on Friday. They badgered me via email and phone starting at 11am on Friday, the day that I was moving and already stressed out, that the truck had to be returned at 12:34pm. Customer service from Budget stated that I had 3 days and the 3 days were up at 12:34pm and it didn't matter what was specified online. Everyone that I talked to was stating that I had to bring the truck back at 12:34pm or I would be charged another day. I rented it for 3 days and technically I had until Saturday at 12:34pm. This place and budget seriously needs to get a better understanding of time and basic math. I'll save you the trouble of reading the entire thing above. Save yourself the stress and time dealing with them. Go get a uhaul.

This is the very best deal you will get, their mileage rates are way lower and their trucks are all basically new. It also helps when the staff rock. Tomorrow will be my third rental and they just plain get things right. If you have any distance to travel you will save a ton.
