Good guy, fair prices, doesn't try to upsell or push stuff like some of these other big national chains do. He is upfront about what is wrong and what can be realistically done about it.Very flexible and accommodating . I've had him work on my wife's van. My mother-in-law and sister in-law like using ALMAX. I've got more work scheduled here and highly recommend ALMAX!Plus, the best donuts in the TC metro (Puffy Cream) and a stellar BBQ place (ZZQ) are right in the same strip mall!

Greg is the best machanic I know! He's honest and will never do the job without letting you know the full cost. I will never go to another place for my car to be checked out. Greg is God sent. We need more car repairmen like Greg! has done work several times for different vehicles. Almax is where you go for the work to be done rite.

I had a bad wheel bearing on my 2019 Ford Flex . Greg did a great job and the price was right. Also while replacing the bearing he noticed my brakes weren’t greased properly so he did that free of charge. You know it’s a good shop when they go above and beyond. If you’re a person of color who speaks with a thick accent, this might not be a safe space for you. My father went in two times the first time when he needed him to loosen the bolts on his tires, the second when he was trying to get an estimate on an issue with my car’s AC. Both times he belittled my dad who spoke English to him with his (my dad’s) thicker accent. The first time when he asked him about the tires he, very aggressively, proclaimed to my father that he was “not responsible if his tires break” and then whispered something about him to the white customer in the shop, who seemed to laugh at whatever that man had said about my father. The second time he went in and once again belittled my father because he didn’t have an answer to his question for the car he had just recently bought. I was recommended this shop by several people for his politeness and dependability, but I am not able to share the same information to others regarding this experience. What a shame.
