“Excellent care. Team of dedicated animal lovers. Be prepared to wait. We called ahead and advised when we’d be there when they asked, but if a room is not ready when arriving, there is a wait. Then could be another wait for vet exam after initial contact with associate to get vitals.
Really grateful we have this awesome vet ER hospital”
“Good vet hospital. I have a difficult (passive-agressive) larger dog. At the beginning of our visit, the vet sat on the floor and talked with her to calm her down. I was really impressed.”
“Just found this clinic after moving to Duluth and love them! Vet Tech Kristin clearly loves animals and was so patient with my high-energy puppy. Dr. Emma Licht is professional, listened to my concerns, and thoroughly explained all upcoming procedures. Love it here!”
“My cat was well cared for, our instructions were clear, well thought through and the staff was very well coordinated! They even took the time to make sure my cats nails were properly trimmed for me too after his surgery. My little "Merlin The Majestic" as they called him, is doing amazing and we're very pleased with our experience! Thank you Twin Ports ?”
“This is the most caring, compassionate and helpful clinic I've brought my dogs to. Everyone here is so kind and truly loves animals. Not only is everyone knowledgeable, but they go out of their way to make sure your pet needs are heard and taken care of to the best of their abilities.”

“I just recently had to bring my dog, my best friend there to be put down and both of us were treated with caring and kindness. I was a wreck when I walked in and was left with a feeling of calm. They truly to me were angels in disguise. Still miss my boy so very much.”
“My husband and I recently had to make the hard decision to say goodbye to our beloved 15 year old dog. Our normal vet didn't do at home euthanasia, so I sought out North Shore Veterinary Hospital for a few reasons. Having an AAHA accredited vet is important to me. They have to maintain an excellent standard of care and expertise. Secondly, I heard nothing but good praise from my co workers.
Dr. Hargrove and his Vet Tech Katie came to our home with such compassion, care, and understanding. In having to make such an emotional decision to say goodbye to a best friend and we felt so supported and in that moment. They were very respectful and informative every step of the way. They cared for our boy knowing he was a part of our family until the very end.
They even helped with extra inkless paw prints and nose prints with the kit I ordered from Amazon. His ashes came back in a beautiful ornate wooden box, name plate, with a certificate and clay paw print that came with a display stand. We even received a card in the mail from Dr. Hargrove and his entire team. I was touched. I cannot thank them enough for a better experience and would recommend this to anyone who is having to make this decision. Our dog was always so anxious at the vet. We were able to give him the ending he deserved.
Thank you for everything. When the time comes, you earned us as new clients in Veterinary care. Keep up the excellent work. I know how hard this gift is to give. But I will be forever grateful!”
