Placed an order from CA through 800 number for my elderly mother who was going to pick up phone in MN, when she got there they changed the order completely, they even changed her number and never told her they were doing it. They totally took advantage of an elderly person.

Have always had extremely helpful employees at this site. One worked on a billing issue that took weeks to straighten out!

Really frustrating…employees make customers feel dumb while at the same time not having the knowledge to be helpful. I overheard 2 employees talking about all the dumb mistakes someone else had made. For my case, two different employees told me I wouldn’t be able to transfer my contacts all at once to my new phone. I suggested he google solutions. He told me he knew what he was doing and then proceeded to waste a half hour fiddling with my phone. I went home and solved the problem in about two minutes with a google search. Avoid this place if at all possible

First things first. I am not the type to update my iPhone, in fact I haven't even been inside a Verizon since 2017. When I go there all the screens and grey streamline stuff just give me a raging headache, idk how the workers do it. But I realized my iPhone 8 wasn't cutting it anymore, the screen was smashed to smotherines in multiple places and it was always at 5%. For some reason i didn't want to let go of my little home button though. Anyways I decided it was time to move on and rip off the IOS band aid. When I showed up to Verizon I didn't know they do a queue. This is fine, time to browse and Peruse while you are in the queue. But let's be honest we all know you come to Verizon to get the new iPhone and you just look at the other stuff for fun. Well I was dead set on the iPhone 15 pro and I was dehydrated in the queue. I was second in line but my head ache was getting worse. I was inpatient and wanted to be anywhere but there. I thought to myself I just need to push through and buy the iPhone 15 and leave with a new phone that has battery. Well my turn in the queue comes, and I tell the worker that I want to switch my plans to join my partners family plan. Perfect and easy right? Well he tells me if I get a new phone number I can get the iPhone 15 for free. He says this is a no brainer. My brain says that how could I ever get rid of my phone number. My indecisiveness gets worse, my headache rages on. I can tell how annoying I'm being in my indecisive hell. But a phone number is a way of life. It's a social security number. It's a major life decision to change it. I think one has to be a little wild lunatic to be changing that left and right. But the trade off here was about 900$. I was convincing myself my phone number was worth 900$. And then I flipped, I crossed the threshold into not giving a fuck anymore. I didn't give a fuck about my phone number or the day or the time. It was just me right there in Verizon with the employee and the present moment was the only thing that mattered. From there on we start cracking jokes and having a good time. I'm excited the iPhone will be mine for free and I put all that baggage about my cell phone number in the past. Forget it. And then the best thing ever happened. My new number was the most perfect number I have ever seen in my entire life. I won't write it here, but I have to say I've truly never seen a sequence of 7 numbers that were so perfectly meant for each other. Every cell in my body knew this was right. I had the number memorized in one instance, rolling off my tongue. The awesome employee went to go get iPhone 15 from his cozy place in the safe. Meanwhile I chose a sparkling case and familiarized myslef with apples latest crap in making new charging ports. When we got the iPhone I was the one who had to legally open the box, which was invigorating and terrifying. Leaping forward into the unknown, no going back. Time is just a concept at this point. He puts the screen protector on, and the little things around the camera and some sick consumerist pleasure comes over me as a I see the sparkling iPhone prepare to be mine. It's in this moment the weight of the world disappears and I cannot even believe the ways I was being unconscious when I first arrived at Verizon. At the end of the day I left with a new free phone, a perfect new number, and an interaction at Verizon that will leave a lasting impression on me. It definitely takes a certain type of employee to handle the energy that I brought in that day. Thanks so much to Ryan at Verizon. Altho I have to say I am typing this on my old phone but I swear I'll cancel it soon.

They refuse to let me move my number to another carrier telling me it is ‘locked’ even after the contract had ended.

These people working now are not helpful. We switched to Verizon last summer and there was a nice guy who worked all of the time. He was super helpful and knew what he was doing. There were always tons of people waiting in the store because he was very knowledgeable and helpful. Now every time I go the store is empty and the guys working say “we can’t help you. Call customer service or go to the other location.” I mine as well go back to Straight Talk with that kind of customer service at least they were cheaper and the Walmart employees would help you.

really just the most incompetent people you could ever have the displeasure of running into.I went there to try to get some changes done to my plan. my phone was not working (this is important to know later)After explaining my situation not once, but twice, even though the "manager" was standing right there next to us, we go through the whooooooole rigamarole of getting the account pulled up and they start checking things...the associate told me they could help, they started working on it, then he got confused, then he didn't know if he could help, then the manager had to step in and that's when things fell apart.but since I'm not the main account holder and I'm not listed as authorized to make changes, they told me, to my face,"there's nothing we can do for you, we can't even talk to you about this phone plan"which is really, the most idiotic thing you could say. You literally just looked up all my info, I'm standing here, with my Verizon phone in my hand.I had to ask him"if you aren't going to do anything, who can? because I've been here for 30 minutes now, it shouldn't have even taken two minutes to fix this"the manager tells me to just go home and try calling the customer service number. I ask, how do i do that when my phone doesn't work, that's the whole reason I'm here.and I'm confused, because, aren't YOU the people who do that?no, see, turns out, Verizon is just like a car dealership;those sleezy. lying, uniformed and ignorant people that work there are just salesmen and they will literally tell you anything to sell you a phone and then once you're gone, they do not care about you at all.I went home, borrowed a friend's phone, called the customer service number and got it taken care of in less than 5 minutes.don't bother going to the store, they can't help you they don't want to help you, they only want to sell you garbage you can get cheaper onlineI bought my phone online, there's no reason to go into the store for anything and after this whole experience, I'll never make the mistake of thinking any of these 5th generation inbred phone jockeys could do anything to help anyone.

It is sad when you drive 60 miles to shop at your establishment during regular business hours to find out you have a closed sign on the door with customers inside... Pretty low class for a large company such as yourself

11/8 4:45 - Asked about a handful of things, including if they had cases for an IPhone 13, person ‘helping’ me yelled at me across the room from his station as to which was for this model. I said I was looking for something less slippery (truly hard these days) which requires opening packages sometimes. After him saying the generic ‘let me know if you have questions’ type sentence multiple times…I took two products to his station to maybe open and check out. He was no where to be found. I circled the store, stood around, looked at other random things. After 5? 8? minutes I just left them on his station and left. Clearly he didn’t care to actually help and had been a bit rude anyway. Went down the road to the Central Entrance Verizon (should have in the first place) and was helped above and beyond.

I cannot recommend this Verizon location and employee Culin highly enough. After struggling unsuccessfully for over a month to activate a certified pre-owned phone I had purchased through Verizon, I made the 90-minute drive from my home to Duluth in hopes of finally resolving the issue. Despite it being near closing time when I arrived, Culin graciously agreed to assist even though he seemed busy helping others and preparing to close the store. His expertise was evident as he immediately and adeptly diagnosed the problem that had stumped numerous other Verizon employees. Culin had the phone activated in five minutes, and he also ensured I knew the necessary steps to finalize the phone transfer once I arrived home. Culin provided exemplary customer service—he was courteous, knowledgeable, efficient, and determined to solve my problem. I am extremely grateful to Culin for his diligence and expertise. Thanks to him, my phone finally works properly. Culin deserves immense credit for his stellar customer service and expertise, and I enthusiastically recommend this Verizon location.
