WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!
Due to my job and schedule, I can't always book in advance, so I go where there's availability. Tried Ulta a couple times, first bad experience, but decided to give a second chance. Ulta has high end prices for beginner work. Talk about sticker shock...Paid over $260 for a cut and 3 colors ( main color with highlights and lowlights). No stylists in Duluth area have charged this much for a cut and 3 colors, even with expert stylists!!! Had this done at other salons many times. At Ulta I was paired with newly graduated stylists. First time it took over 6 hours for the colors (normally takes maybe 2?). Both times my cut was uneven. Colors were great.. cuts were bad. So bad that people pointed out how crooked the cuts were. Went back to get it fixed, stylists couldnt accomodate. Ended up going to another salon and paying another $60 to get my cut fixed. Ulta Manager was no help. Customer service chat was horrible, repeated the same thing over and over, offered no resolution and plain didn't care. They care more about $$ than quality and customer service. I will NEVER recommend this business to anyone.

We had moved here recently and I needed to find a hair stylist. My daughter recommended trying Ulta because the staff there are so nice. I am so glad I did!
Sam was very friendly and personable and she listened to my hair concerns. She was also very knowledgeable about hair and shared her recommendations regarding the hair photos I had shown her. She gave me a cute style that framed my face nicely. I will definitely request Sam again for my next haircut!

Super helpful & knowledgeable staff! I got a perm and the sales associate helped me find the product I need to take care of and style my hair. She even talked me through the best way to use the products she recommended. I went in super overwhelmed and left feeling a lot more confident. Thanks!

DO NOT COME HERE FOR HAIR. my sister got her hair done, just wanted a cut and tone and they turned her dirty blonde hair ginger. Clearly it wasn’t done correctly so they did another round of toner and the hair is still showing red at the roots. They took the hair cut off but left the color so she paid 87.00 for a botched toning job. I understand mistakes happen but charging at 15 year old for hair YOU messed up is ridiculous! To say the least very very dissatisfied. DO NOT GET YOUR HAIR DONE HERE!!!

If I could give a negative review I would. This company is ridiculous! I hate that it is one of the only places I can get certain items because I have been dealing with them for over a month on trying to get items I ordered and they sent to an incorrect address, a place that was updated in store and online both but they still somehow had on file. Now a month later they've had the package returned and they STILL won't send the items to my correct address!! I can understand there being system issues where something goes wrong but honestly every time I reach out to them they never follow up or fix it. I have wasted hours on the phone asking them to send it to the right place and they claim they can't. So now they have the items and my money and I used rewards, a coupon etc. So I want the same things for the same price and THEY can't?! It's a joke! All I want are the things I ordered and you have them, what possible reason can you have to not resend them to the correct place?! This has been a nightmare and every time I think I have someone who is going to follow up and fix it but then nothing. Hate it!!

I love the vast variety of options to choose from. Also like that they have choices from basic to high end name brands. I don't appreciate most of the vibes I get from the employees but I just ignore it.

I recently booked a foil and haircut at the Ulta Salon in Duluth, MN. I could not be more happy with the amazing job Laura F did on my hair!! My crazy busy life doesn’t always allow me to get my hair done as often as I’d like, so I pretty much walked in to my appointment with my hair looking like a hot mess. Laura listened to, and made sure she understood what I wanted done. She recommended services and products that would help keep my hair healthy, and let me tell you, I left the salon feeling like a million bucks! I highly recommend Laura for your salon services at Ulta in Duluth!
