Ever since switching to Aspirus quality and efficiency of care has severely diminished. now both systems are awful up here.

I was in so much pain I couldn't go on. I was in that dark of a place. I had went to the Superior hospital a lot for over 7 months and was called everything from a "drug seeker" to an "actor". Finally was able to go here after all that time and they figured out what was wrong with me within an hour and a half of being in the ER room. Turns out I've been passing kidney stones since I started to complain about it last December. Some way to big to do it the hard way so they did so much damage on their way out. They gave me medicine to deal with the pain and some too help me pass the remaining ones. Imagine being in that much pain for that long and being told "it's all in your head". Then these people come along and fix everything. You have no idea how grateful I am.
Negatives to be fair....I had to go here three times total. The first two times I was in the waiting room for 4 then 6 hours before I got a room. The third time I was only in the waiting room for like an hour but I was in the ER room for 5 almost 6. I was in a lot of residual pain but they said I had passed the kidney stones already so it'll go away with time. There is no reason I should have been back there that long for them to say just that. It was extremely slow so they were not dealing with a lot of patients. So I really don't get it.
If they could figure out that time thing I think I could say they were the best hospital I've ever been too. So when you go here busy or not you are making at least half a day of it. But they will figure it out.

I've really loved my experience with St Luke's. Every physician I've worked with has been highly knowledgeable, shows an interest in me, and has provided me with an extremely great level of care.

After waiting 4 hours in ER, we left. Pathetic example of patient care.

I was just in St. Luke’s due to a heart attack. The ambulance brought me in and we had people waiting in the Cath Lab. They saved my life I was admitted to the sixth floor, and I have to say I was treated like a queen. The nurses checked on me regularly got me anything that I needed, if I felt hot, I was given a fan there was not one nurse or doctor that I met that wasn’t pleasant. I will continue to go to St. Luke’s when needed.

I think it would be better to talk to a person to get my medical records rather than a robot.

Very far from home and had a sick family member here for 6 days. What a wonderful experience! Everyone was so nice and accommodating, thorough doctors took the time to explain everything and fabulous view of Lake Superior from the waiting room. Couldn’t have asked for more. Shout out to the doctors and nurses on 5 west floor. Thanks, You rock!

Went to the ER last May with dehydration and spent the night for a stress test in the morning. Nurse brought me my regular morning med that I didn't ask for. Nurse didn't say that there's a possibility that your insurance won't cover these meds. Now a year later they want $101 for the meds.i don't pay that much a year. Total for procedure over $17,000.

I went to the ER with shortness of breath and was treated promptly. However, I was also having a migraine, nausea and arthritis pain and asked twice for Toradol, which the doctor denied me. Thus, I left feeling much worse than when I went in. I was too sick to go to the pharmacy and pick up my prescriptions for antibiotic and steroid.

They are very slow to review imaging and get results to people. This is very poor service for this facility.
