I went from opting out of a house being built for me to needing a house ASAP. I was nervous, tentative, and stressed about finding a new house and being new to the area, a great realtor. While making a list of houses to view, I was fortunate enough to come across Sheryl Homan who is truly a realtor extraordinaire. Sheryl is a down-to-earth, personable, and completely genuine human being. She always made time for us - either showing us the house or promptly responding to our numerous questions. Sheryl was open and honest about the positive aspects of the house and updates that would need to occur. I like someone who is completely open and honest and doesn't sugar coat things that may not be the best selling point. She is someone who is easy to talk to and is very real and genuine. I knew that she is a realtor but it felt like she was my favorite neighbor. She strives to match the people to the perfect house that matches their personality and style. She also went beyond the house and helped find business, parks, and Scottish people (!!!) that we would enjoy and didn't know where to start to find. If you are in the market for a house and an exceptional realtor, you do not need to look any further as Sheryl Homan is the complete package. SHERYL=AWESOME.

I have lived in Minnetonka with my daughter after my wife died in 2018. My daughter was burned out with teaching and wanted a complete change of scenery and career. Our son lived in Duluth so we offered on a town house being built. We had to cancel the townhouse due to skyrocketing costs after about a year delay and saw the house Sheryl was selling and on June 19 viewed the house and liked it. Sheryl came back that night and was available so my son could also see it.We had numerous questions and Sheryl made us feel totally comfortable with the process and we made an offer. As questions arose during the process she was always available and offered wise counsel throughout the entire time.In short, Sheryl is a consummate professional who truly represents realtors in the very best light. We would recommend her highly to anyone in the house selling or buying mode.After closing we have also relied on her recommendations for craftspeople to do electrical and plumbing work and they also were the best.Thanks for everything Sheryl.

Sheryl Homan is a superb business woman and realtor. She cares about the client throughout the entire process of selling and buying property. She has the eye in staging the house for selling and insight in the home that is being sold. She cares for her clients throughout the whole ordeal of selling a favorite home and helping them to buy the next gem. Sheryl helped me purchase a home in Duluth, MN in a crazy housing market. Buying a house at that time was very stressful, with houses being listed and sold very quickly, and bidding wars a common occurrence. The thing I most appreciated about Sheryl was her calm demeanor, and ability to talk me through whatever “crisis” had me worried. With many years of real estate experience, Sheryl was able to see the bigger picture and help me maintain confidence that I’d eventually find the perfect house. Sheryl is very organized and has a wealth of local knowledge, which was especially helpful for me coming from “out of town”. Sheryl was very good about keeping track of all the moving pieces that have to come together to actually complete a real-estate transaction. Some things were out of our control, but Sheryl was always on top of anything that could be helped along. Finally, Sheryl is very friendly & personable, and really listened to my “wish list” — she helped me find a property that was exactly what I was looking for. She has an extensive network of local contacts, and was able to provide insight and advice that couldn’t be found scrolling through MLS listings online. Thanks Sheryl!!

Sheryl is an outstanding agent, she has worked with members of our extended family on several real estate transactions over the years. One of the worst realtors in Duluth. She doesn't know how to communicate properly and can't answer a simple question in a timely manor. All she cares about is herself and her money. Do not hire her!

Sheryl is an amazing realtor. She was very patient and diligent. She listened to everything my wife and I wanted in a house and neighborhood and worked hard to help find our dream home. She also respected our budget and never once tried to pressure us into buying a house that we could not truly afford. Even after buying the house, Sheryl helps my wife and me with any questions we have about the house. In the future if we move, we will definitely be using Sheryl as our realtor.

Sheryl Homan was the agent for the recent sale of our house, and couldn't have been more helpful with all the little extra things we had to accomplish prior to the sale. For example, there were some carpentry repairs we felt needed to be done , and she put us in contact with a reliable contractor who quickly made the repairs needed. The same was true with a plumber and a roofer: these repairs were relatively minor, but were essential.We believe that Sheryl went about and beyond in her role as our real estate agent, which helped greatly in selling our home so quickly.
