I don’t recommend anyone go here, not worth all the hassle. Took DAYS for them to contact me, had my vin but said they ordered the wrong glass (but they had the right windshield, wrong window). They took out my broken one still and left it OPEN for over 3 days. They apparently had to fix other cars who had an appointment AFTER me even though my wide open car should be first priority. Even asked why they didn’t leave the broken one in if they knew. Anyone could have went inside. Then when they finally get the window, they try saying it’s too cold and won’t put my door back together. After guaranteeing it would be done in a few hours (a week now) they wouldn’t even give any money back. Almost 1k and I am so disappointed because glass is about 200. I know I’m paying for the service but the service was half done.I just had new windshield wipers put on prior to Safelite coming. They asked if new ones would compensate for all the trouble they caused, declined the offer. They did anyways and with CHEAPER ones then I had. But now there is a foot that doesn’t get wiped by the wiper. Called at least four times and haven’t even heard back. Ran by twelve year olds.

Put dents above back window of my new truck and scratched off paint. Tried covering it up witb very bad unmatched paint. Never said anything about it. No wonder it took 3 1/2 hours. Worst place ever. Very unprofessional.. First picture is before. One side is shattered, but still together. No dents.

Had a warranty claim, a crack along the whole bottom of the windshield. They said it was from some kind of a blow to the windshield, I don't think so. I'm the only one who drives the vehicle and nothing has hit it. It was replaced less than a year ago. It was a defective windshield. They just wanted more money to replace it again at my expense. I'll never go there again.

They dripped adhesive on my interior in mulitple places. The box covering my wires fell off while i was driving away. My tech Tony was over 30 minutes late for my appointment. Was quoted an hour for replace time. Sat at the shop for 2.5 hours. Incredibly unprofessional. Lack of respect for people's time. They even said they basically had nothing going on that day. Listened as another tech was over an hour late for another appointment.

They cut all wiring to my car alarm by mistake.They refused to pay upfront for thier repairs. They refused to reimburse me. You will pull your hair out after spending hours on hold, only for their automated answering service to hang up on you during all calls. My family is still waiting for reimbursement from Safelite. Advice: Steer clear of Safelite at all costs, both when driving your vehicle & when filing a claim.

Our windshield was not reparable, so it needed to be replaced. We set up multiple appointments over the course of two weeks, only to have them contact us the day before or the day of to say that they didn't have the windshield. Meanwhile the crack in our windshield was growing by the day. They are poorly organized and just couldn't get their act together. We finally gave up and went elsewhere.

Windshield had a leak, so I scheduled a warranty repair for 9:30 am. I hadn't heard anything by 4:30 and started to call. It took 14 calls to speak with a customer service agent to be told the Duluth store doesn't answer their phone after 4:20 even though their open until 5:00. The agent said I never had an appt. and I'd have to go to the shop in the morning to get it (however, it's not repaired as she said my appt was canceled). Terrible customer service

I scheduled an appointment for my car to be done at my house several days in advance, and today when the appointment was to be completed the tech never showed. They said he tried calling me, but I scheduled it for my house as I was at work when the service was to be performed. The tech never showed up and just rescheduled for 10 days later without talking to me, and wouldn't send a tech to me any sooner. Go with someone else local this company does not care about your business.

Made 2 morning appointments with them, never showed up both times!! Incompetent!! When I made the 2nd appointment, already mad as hell, I was promised they would be on time! Nope, didn't happen! Just an awful experience all around!!! I can't believe people can run a business like this!!

They somehow unhooked my breaks vacuum line, which runs by the windshield, and didn't put it back, causing the truck to have no breaks. I had to go to a mechanic so the machanic could fix it. I informed safelite about it and the bill, which they said they would repay, but I still have yet to receive anything, and that was in early June.

I am extremely upset right now. The lack of communication with this company is unbelievable. I had an appointment set for today 6/6/23 from 8am-12pm. It is now 2:30 pm, and I have not received any text, phone call, or email from anyone!! I just called the number and they had me on hold for a good 10 mins trying to figure out what's going on. Turns out my windshield never arrived on the truck today.. Are you kidding me? No text, phone call, or email to let me know anything. Just a sorry and reschedule from them. UnFbelievable.

My auto insurance refers glass claims directly to Safelite. I needed to replace my windshield after a rock crack/chip. The soonest I could get in was April 27, 2023 in Duluth. Over 70 miles one way from home.I drive a 2022 vehicle.The concept of quality workmanship, communication, integrity, honesty etc are reasonable expectations for service. This entire experience has been a disaster.The technicians removed my broken windshield and installed THE WRONG WINDSHIELD because all of the forward anti collision etc "camera" wouldn't fit. Wrong windshield. They said we'd have to reschedule and they held onto my "camera".When I arrived at home, I realized the seal across the top of the windshield was hanging out, the trim around the windshield want even snapped into place, there are scratches and gouges from the removal process in my BRAND NEW CAR. The list goes on.I played chase trying to get help. Calling customer the service number and was referred to the original store. The reps claimed it would fall under their warranty. The store had me return today, 9 May. I addressed the manager, CHRIS and showed him the damage.3.5 hours later with ZERO followup as I sat in the waiting room: the technician hands me my keys. I asked to speak to the manager (who had been in his office the ENTIRE time going over manager training with 2 other "managers"- ironic) and was told he was in a meeting. He refused to talk to me.I asked how the damages were going to be handled and was told to take it to a repair shop and safelite will take care of it.I asked for the guarantee to be written or printed.The tech HANDWROTE a letter saying Safelite will pay for the repairs. What??Then when I went out to my car, the hood wasn't seated correctly. I opened it and a foam piece hadn't been reinstalled! It was slammed in my hood! I grabbed the technician and had her install it. AND the calibration sequence was not completed correctly!Zero customer service. Zero integrity.Safelite. The face of your company is an embarrassmentand you will never have my business again and it is now my personal mission to share my experience with everyone I can..Bravo!

I brought my car here two years ago to get a windshield chip repaired. This last week the chip became a little bigger, so I knew it would eventually crack across the whole windshield. I took my car to safelite again and they said my windshield would need to be replaced instead of repaired. Oh well, that’s fine. They rescheduled me 4 days later and in that time the crack went completely across my windshield. My appointment day comes and they call 20 mins before my appointment to tell me they can’t find my windshield replacement anywhere and to call to get rescheduled again. Say what?? Go to city auto glass instead!
