Went in to get my dog a birthday treat. The first thing the worker said to us was did she go potty in an aggressive manner. She then said that she had a chihuahua behind the counter, I acknowledged, and moved along. My dog tried to go back over to that area to which I redirected her and the worker yelled at us saying “you need to stay away from there!”The products are pretty much the same that you would find anywhere else. This place is not a dog bakery but rather a pet supply store. Overall, would not recommend. You would be much better off going to A Place for Fido, much friendlier staff and cleaner environment.

I love Matilda's. So do my dogs when I come home with all the homemade treats! They have a great selection of premium pet food and an incredible selection of treats and chews! This is a little hidden gem! Love picking up toys there too! Would much rather support a local business than the big box stores. Great customer service and it feels like I'm at a coffee shop whenever I stop in because of the conversations and atmosphere at Matilda's.

Probably the best variety of foods for cats and dogs in town. If there is something you wish and they don't have they can order it for you.Easy parking, albeit tight.They accept credit cards.

Matilda’s is a valued neighborhood spot for all our pet food and treat needs, both cats and dogs. If Joanne doesn’t carry it, she will order for you, so you always have a bag ready to go when you need it! (And apologies for the shoplifting of the freeze dried chicken foot last time we were there … we did pay for it as our dog gobbled it down before we could put it back! She loves the place!)

Hmmmm...what to say? We LOVE this shop. Our 3 dogs love it too. Driving to the shop is generally easy. However, the turn into their parking lot is rather abrupt and the parking spaces are limited. When leaving, I suggest exiting through the back alleyway versus turning onto the main road right away. Anyway, our big takeaway from the store is the homemade dog goodies. Our dogs favorites are the: Mac and Cheese bites, Chicken Pot pie bites, Maple Bacon biscuits and their most favorite is the Mosquito p**** We recently moved out of state. So, I purchased a rather large amount of goodies to take with us. What's great about these treats is that they freeze well! We're rationing our dogs goodies now until we come back around Thanksgiving time. The staff are always friendly and chatty. All in all, come check out this awesome shop for your dogs! ❤ Oh, there's also a sign on their door "Dogs welcome, people tolerated." ?
