I have visited this store several times since moving to the area, the most recent being 2/15/25. Upon walking in I felt more overwhelmed than ever at the disarray. The store looked like a tornado had went through it. Everything was a disaster. It looked as if it had not been cleaned or zoned in months. it was so upsetting that I had to just walk out after doing a loop.the back corner of the store was dark and half the lights were even out and have been every time I’ve stopped by. I at first thought maybe they were one of the stores that were going out of business this year but upon looking further I found that it was not on the closing list. I do not know who runs this store but it’s a complete embarrassment to our city. It has the potential to be a nice store if someone only took the time to care. Very sad. Do better.

Making a review for my husbands experience. He was there with our youngest and looking for a specific fabric and a hot glue gun. The place was a mess, younger people working not attentive to customers and chatting, not helping promptly. Worker just pointed to the direction of what husband was looking for and there were several aisles and did not bother to walk over there directly and help and she was not busy at that moment. At checkout- no one was there and my husband didn’t notice a blue button to press when ready to checkout. A worker noticed him but asked oh did you press the button… rather than stopping what he was doing to come check out his items and get him on his way.
He said workers were friendly enough just a strange and unprofessional experience.

This location used to be a little sparse yet work the hour and a half trip, what the hell is happening?! Boxes are piled and many shelves are near empty. The fabric is so messy and unorganized, some employees were nice and helpful but the ‘manager’ I could hear her the entire time I was shopping talk about her concert tickets. Was a disappointing trip :(

The trip to Hibbing is worth it. There were boxes everywhere, lights were off in some sections and the whole place was disorganized and full of boxes. Felt like a zombie movie.
If you like your fabric stores to look like a run down Goodwill, it's the place for you.

What is going on with this location? There are always a ton of stock boxes in the aisles and empty shelves. The employees are always kind and helpful, so I’m guessing this is a short-staffing issue? Hire more full-time employees, corporate!

Very messy and dirty. Looks like the floor hasn't been swept in a week. The workers were all very friendly and I asked if they were short staffed, thinking that would explain the mess. The employee said, no, but they aren't allowed to get enough hours to do all the cleanup, the whole store is run by about 3 people at a time. I'm sad, I love shopping for fabric here, but it's not fun when you're weaving around boxes and garbage and objects tossed on the floor. I know this isn't the employees fault, they all work very hard, it is corporate that skimps on employees hours.

I dont think I’ll go back to this store. It’s a mess! I can’t find anything there. No one evidently cleans and neatens the place up. I don’t like disarray and this store is beyond that. Also, there is never more than one check out no matter how many people in line. I have other options.

My family will not shop there anymore. We have spent about as much as a family can spend in a local fabric store. But a woman named Kelly has now insinuated that my sister (months ago) and now my mother are either crooks or liars because Joann's failed to put together an order completely. It's happened 3 times, but my mother caught it the first time. When my brother-in-law picked up an order with missing items, my sister called, she was spoken to disrespectfully, and just blew it off. Now, when my father picked up my mother's order, we were missing SEVERAL items. We encountered the same disrespect from Kelly, wherein she implied my mother was lying, a thief, or unable to check two bags. What a (bad word). Be better, folks.
