As a former Turbo Taxer, I could not keep up with all the technical changes. Now I use H&R Block for my own and my sister's taxes. It costs more, but I am glad to pay more for a reputable company with knowledgeable, experienced tax professionals, who are up to date on the annual tax changes and regulations. Instead of spending hours on my taxes, I now walk in to my H&R Block and have my taxes accurately completed in minutes. I walk out looking forward to the refund that will arrive in a few days.

First time using H and R block and likely my last. I am "self employed" and believe I found some errors within the forms filed. I had called for multiple weeks with no answer, to finally get someone on the line and a response of "I'll have my manager call you." I have received no call. I let a couple more weeks go by and finally got a hold of the office again to the same response of "I'll have my manager call you" with yet no call after another week. I'll likely end up paying another company to amend my taxes so they can be fixed after giving H and R block almost $600 to file mistakes. The mistake made was using them to begin with.

The only thing I disliked was the high filing fee they charge. It was pricier this year and encourages us to go to say turbo tax where it's free. I have been a loyal customer since 2009, and I remember it being around $200.

Went there at the beginning of June needing help with a tax problem, thought everything was fine and sent my taxes in. Just got them sent back to me, because the lady working had me sign the “third party designee” instead where I was supposed to sign. I paid them $40 dollars out of pocket for no help.

I have had my taxes done by the grand forks,ND H&R block and had great experiences. So when we moved to duluth MN we decided to use them also. My experience with the Duluth H&R block on central entrance as changed my mind against H&R block and I will never use them again to do my taxes.
