Today at 8 AM I ordered an Air Conditioner for pick up. The site said that there are 5 in stock, which typically would me that there are 5 currently in the store. I figured I may as well order it for pick up just to make sure I get it. After I buy the thing for $250 I get an email saying not to come to the store until I get an email saying that it's ready for me. So I was thinking it'd be a chill 20 minutes to an hour and then I could go and grab it. I sit around until 1 PM and I finally decide to ask what on earth is going on. I use the customer service via text to figure out when I can pick the thing up because I have been sitting in my apartment for 3 days dripping in sweat. The person I talked to made me confirm my name and address and what not like 3 times, taking at least 15 minutes in between every response, but finally I get confirmation that they are "picking my item." I ask how long it will probably be and I get the response "I don't know but I was given a time frame of 2 hours." I thought well I've already been sitting here for 5 hours what's 2 more. Then an hour and a half after that I get a call and they tell me it's on a trailer with 9 THOUSAND other items and I won't get it until tomorrow. Long story short I will never be buying anything from this Home Depot ever again. A MAYBE 2 hour process turned into over 24 hours. Thanks guys!!!

our kitchen remodel with home depot has been a nightmare. 12 weeks late, only part of the oder came in and everything was damaged. could not track our order. was even told by their own sales associate to cancel the order. should have listened. the level of incompetence is astounding. I will never shop at Home depot again.

I had yo buy a section of Deck railing and after I selected the railing the staff helped take it off the rack for me.. AND.. Showed me the mounting brackets that made the install super easy!! I would not have known about the brackets if he hadn't said anything.. Im so grateful he took the time to help make this job go smoother, easier and faster.. Thank you soo much!!!

I have been very disappointed in the store's response to Covid 19. While Menard's requires everyone to wear masks, It seems MOST Home Depot employees do not. This made me very uncomfortable and unwilling to return as long as my health could be at risk.I have been going to Home Depot Stores for many years long before they opened in Duluth. I have had very good to very poor experiences. I am pleased to have them in the Duluth city limits for the tax contribution to the city.

Been to the Duluth store on multiple occasions to purchase Trex decking. Absolutely nobody could price out the decking, let alone actually order it. Apparently the only employees that can do these complex tasks are managers that work during the day, during the week...when everyone else is also at work and not able to get to Home Depot. So much for the “pro†desk.

Dave Brown, the kitchen designer was very helpful. He showed us all options and explained everything so that we could understand. Whatever he's getting paid, it needs to be more.

Terrible terrible customer service. Every time I walk in this store employees scatter. Also they hire extremely horrible contractors, destroyed walls putting in windows. Rude and very poor compensation. Never stepping foot in a Home Depot again and I will share with all my friends!!

My go-to hardware/paint/lawn care...home update store in the Twin Ports area. A huge selection of absolutely everything you'd ever need to keep your home in tip-top shape. Love all of the landscaping ideas for the summer time. Customer service is always at its prime. I never have a problem finding that person in orange when I need em'. Very knowledgeable with paint as well. They will even match the paint color to any piece of fabric, porcelain, material, etc. that you bring in and suggest which type of paint to use depending on what you're painting, (outdoor, bathroom, bedroom, kitchen, etc.)

This Home Depot is OK. It seems like many of the times I shop here, I am a bit disappointed though. They have a huge selection and are good for most of your home remodeling/repair needs. I have found a few areas which are not their strong suit however. 1. Matching paint. They definitely need some work in this department. I brought in a large sample of interior paint to have them match it so that I could do some touch up painting. Well, the color "match" was so far off, that instead of doing a few little touch-ups, I had to repaint the entire room. This was unfortunate, because then I didn't have enough paint to finish the whole room. Easy enough... I'll just bring in the same container that I purchased from them with the computer code on the label and buy the exact same thing. Easier said than done. Once the paint dried, it clearly did not match the paint that I purchased from them before. What a hassle. 2. I would definitely not recommend purchasing or having carpet installed by the Home Depot. Nothing but problem after problem after problem. It took forever, only one of the several employees that I spoke to really seemed concerned with getting the project done in a timely manner, and the quality of the installation really was not that great. 3. I really haven't been too impressed with the quality or selection of bathroom fixtures and hardware. A few of the employees in that department really didn't seem like they were working in their area of expertise and weren't all that helpful. That's just a summary... maybe someday I'll sit down and share with you all of the details.

Found almost all items for the laundry room re-do here. People were helpful. Paint mixes came out great. I'll go back again and again.
