This happened last year. We had a bad experience. Our feline daughter of 22 years had a cancer, a bulging diseased eye, had stopped eating and had lost litter box habit. It wasn't easy to resolve things by putting her out of misery but it seemed like the right thing to do. Made a call, was told to bring her in early a.m. Did. Waited 2+ hours with her in a kennel. Finally called into a room inside away from waiting room. We wanted to take her out of kennel. DON'T was the reply. Soon a staff came and took the kennel with her in it to the "back" and asked us to wait here. Did. In a while a staff came and asked for my credit card. Said "she's being very violent". Left. Time passed, wife went to assist. Angry staff met her and said "stay back in the room". Did. Staff with card came back in with card & a paid receipt. Waited. Finally male staff came in with her in his hands, unconscious, said "she was violent, we had to sedate her." She had a large metal injector device installed in her forearm. Said "she's alive, say the word and I'll inject her". Grieving we did. He pushed in the fluid. No response from her, he took stethoscope, held it to her chest, said "she's gone". Gave her to us, dead, with the kennel. He went out the door to 'the back'. No compassion. We took her and left. Sad.2 weeks later a condolence card arrived. We won't go back.

They are knowledgeable and kind.The staff and doctors are great and we are lucky to have such great care for our pups. Great vets office and I highly reccomend them.

Tried to schedule an appointment, and they told me I couldn't due to busy scheduling. Got turned away. I couldn't even schedule for the next available time, which was 3 months out. I'm not really sure why no explanation was given. When I tried to thank the lady over the phone, she hung up on me. Superior animal hospital got me in and proceeded for way cheaper than this place offered and way way more friendly if you don't mind the drive for the better quality.Owner is NUTS, the rest of the staff are just doing their job. Kinda strange everytime they get a bad review. The owner fights it like they just got a law degree. Defend your company and all, but the way it comes off is rude and condescending. I know its hard to imagine, but you can't please everyone with your service, and that leads to bad reviews. You really can't please people when you act like how the owner does.

In response to owner . .. my dog is needing put to sleep . Your company had no problem helping my other dog for end of life who also had not been in due to covid . Duke was given a prescription in 2020 and that was ok tho ?. Apparently end of life is not as important as the other animals that come in on a regular right ? I brought my animals in for all their appts up till covid. Also know someone who brought their animal in last week to be put to sleep and had not been seen in your required time frame and your company helped her ! It is what it is . I have personally delt with you with Duke and you are very rude . You did nothing different then anytime he was brought in before for his ears. Slapped him on a $50 med that didnt cure the problem . Nice try to make it sound like I didnt keep my appointments with your company ! Kept them all up until they were due for their rabies and distemper during covid. But thankfully I found a vet that actually shows care and compassion for my pet that is on his death bed ! Definitely will not recommend your business let alone you ! The other vets that work for you are amazing tho . And FYI the pandemic did not end in 2020 ! I work in the medical field and even CDC said May 11th,2023 ! ?My dogs have both went there from day 1 of me having them . Fast forward to today . My dog needed an end of life evaluation but because they havent made money off me in the last 3 years (covid) . Last appt was 2018 but had recieved an ear prescriptionfor his chronic ear infection in 2020.. my pet is no longer a patient and they aint taking new patients . Will never recommend this place to anyone. Clearly all about the profit.

The ladies here are warm and friendly, They love and remember the dogs and cats that come to see them. The care is always on point and they great at offering price conscious options.

Edit* its my partners account. We bought all out dips online to save money. And i find it hilarious when owners take the time to defend negative reviews yet dont take the time to thank the positive ones.*I don't know about the angry lady before. But my partner and I have not been banned, nor have we had an outburst here. However we will not be going back for the same reasons. The staff is very negligent and do not clean the rooms between pets. I brought a dog in for a heart worm check. While waiting for the room i overheard staff talking about ringworm and didnt think anything of it. When a room was ready i called my partner and our dog was broght in. He went straight from the car to the room, and then back to car as he is a bit well wolfish in size. Long story short my dog dosnt go many places due to this. Home yard camping and vet. 6 months later I'm over a 1000 dollars in the hole for medications, dips, laundry/cleaning and time dealing with the spread from my big dog to the other 3 animals in the house. Absolutely 0 cares given by the staff. Numerous friends have stopped going here and so have we. My partner insist on keeping them as a backup which is why im leaving the review, but I'd rather shove bamboo under my nails then go here again.O ps these guys are the type that like to punish you if life happens. For our last 4 visits we had to prepay for appointments due to missing one....coincidentally we missed it because our son ended up with ringworm( from the dog) and it spread to his little eye ball ?. Forgive us for not thinking of you when our 14 mo old couldn't stop trying to dig his eye out!

I would highly recommend you seek other veterinary care. Grand Avenue veterinary clinic and Two Harbors Veterinarian clinic are owned by the same person. One of their doctors has misdiagnosed many patients. And another doctor has neglectfully treated patients. I have friends whose pets have died because of these neglectful people.I had a terrible experience and the staff at the time lied to the owner of Grand Avenue Clinic. I wouldn’t step foot in either one of these clinics again! It’s disheartening because I did have one veterinarian at Two Harbors Veterinarian clinic that I adored and she treated my animals well and she treated me with respect. She listened to my concerns and took them seriously. There was one administration at Two Harbors Veterinarian clinic that is absolutely amazing and deserves a huge raise!Edit:The clinic owner is lying. I was irate at the performance by untrained staff and neglectful doctor. I threatened to sue for negligence. If that is considered abusive, then albeit! Dr. Ball used abusive rhetoric against me first. How very unprofessional! Her verbal, personal opinions about my family and myself were abusive!This vet clinic will say anything to save their own skin. I have spent thousands between both clinics. I am speaking out as an abused client! Dr. Marshak, why have you not personally contacted me to get my side of the story? Are you to cuckholded by Dr. Ball to do that? I spoke from my honest truth, as impassioned as it may have been. Your staff speak from lies! My review was written the day I had the altercation with the vet staff. Again, the vet clinic owner is lying and refuses to acknowledge their part in the debacle! Just all around bad situation and I will not trust them to touch any of my animals again! And from the looks of the reviews for both places, acknowledgement isn’t either clinic’s strong suit.

They are very caring a supportive. I had to have 2 of my babies cremated and they were just the nicest people. The vet is very helpful and my pets love her so much
