Lisa deserves the highest rating. She is a wonderfullly thoughtful veterinarian with expertise and empathy! I have been bringing all of my four legged family to visit her for the last 20 years and will continue. The friendly staff is gentle and kind. The prices are reasonable. And they offer a payment plan through Care Credit.

Dr. Jeanetta performed cruciate ligament repair surgery on our boy George yesterday and we could not be happier. She's so patient, calm, caring and we felt totally confident leaving our sweet boy in her capable hands. She even called us post-surgery to let us know how to reach her over the weekend should issues arise. Rona, the vet tech is also great! She gave detailed post-op instructions and patiently answered all my questions. We live over an hour away but we're going to bring our other two dogs for care here as well. Dougherty has earned a client for life.

Horrible clinic now that the main vet doctor Dougherty has retired. My family has been bringing cats and dogs to this vet clinic for 40 plus years. Our cat has now been sick twice in the last 3 years and both times they would not accomodate us to see the cat. Our cat is very sick and will not make it very long. They said that they are booked for 5 weeks out and our only option is to go to the emergency clinic. They obviously do not care about animals and are only interested in making money. I will not be bringing my family members here anymore.

We are new to Duluth AND new bird owners (a green cheeked Conure). This was our first time taking him to a vet. We were happy and thankful to find a vet that treated birds. Everyone at Dougherty was wonderful!! So kind and helpful. Dr. Jeanetta was so kind and gentle with our bird, answered all of our questions, and gave us valuable information as new bird owners. We were extremely happy, and are glad we have found a new vet. We will be back with the rest of our furry family.

Our vet retired recently and we had an emergency with our cat and Dougherty's was very accommodating and got us in that day. Our kitty was treated wonderfully. I felt the prices were not over the top. Any emergent vet care is going to cost some $, but I was satisfied. We'll definitely be back soon with our new puppy!

Always accommodating as possible. Has seen my parrots and helped whenever possible. When birds get sick they need to be seen asap and she understands this. Always kind and compassionate.

I have taken all of my dogs here for a number of years now. They are always accommodating no long waits for a appointment even in a emergency. Good doctors, caring.
