Just found this clinic after moving to Duluth and love them! Vet Tech Kristin clearly loves animals and was so patient with my high-energy puppy. Dr. Emma Licht is professional, listened to my concerns, and thoroughly explained all upcoming procedures. Love it here!

The team here are outstanding with animals. We have a malamute husky and 2 kittens. Their great at handling our pets. They communicate through texts, email and/or US mail. You don't have to worry about when your pets need shots or checkups. Their pleasant to talk to and knowledgeable.

The compassion and care at Dougherty is above and beyond. I had just gone through a diagnosis of my old man, then treatment, and eventually euthanasia. Although the results weren't what we hoped, Dr. Emma was there for us every step of the way. I have never gotten the patience and attention and it made it so much easier knowing they actually wanted to help me and my pet rather then take checks. They are very educated and help you understand your options as well as understanding what you pay for. I don't think I can go to many other vets after Dougherty.

We have had poor experiences with a few vets over our lifetime, but Dougherty Vet clinic is not one of them. They are so sweet, kind and understanding and go the extra mile to take care of their patients and pet parents!
Your recommendations for food, treatment, and how you've treated our rambunctious girl have been amazing and Rachel specifically has been a Rockstar. We love Rachel, Dr Emma, and the whole staff at DVC!

Right away you are put into an exam room. The staff was very friendly and good with my dog. Did a good exam and took care of all my concerns, first time dog mom. Highly recommend this place.

I am so grateful for the professional, kind, and efficient care provided by the staff at Dougherty veterinary clinic! Every time we’ve been there they quickly get us in a private room (vs waiting in a lobby) and everything is completed in the room, even payment! Makes it so easy to bring our dogs to get quality care!

Annual check up, great service in and out in 20 minutes. Appointment on time. Prices seems normal . Been with them for years .

We could not be happier with the attention and care that we have received from Dougherty Veterinary Clinic. We’ve had several emergency situations that were handled well they also do follow up calls and veterinarian even gave us her personal cell phone number to call at night.. We very much appreciate the friendliness of the staff, and our dogs wag their tails when we pull up.

They did the euthanasia on my beloved Hershey and they were so kind and gentle with him and us. That day was made so much easier knowing they cared about our fur baby.

Always super helpful and take great care of our kitties and doggy. Really shined when our kitty passed away unexpectedly, and they helped with the cremation. A sad but necessary service, and they were thoughtful and kind. Thank you Dougherty Friends.
