“Grandma's Marathon was great! It is a beautiful course and there are supporters along most of the way! It is super exciting to run into Duluth - the last 4 miles or so are packed with people cheering the runners on. The festivities continue after the race! There is live music all night and other special events and vendors around Canal Park. Wonderful weekend, great race!!! If you're debating whether or not to sign up next year, this is your sign to do it!”

“Northwoods was a huge help for my kid he had been to a lot of placements before and even he said that Northwoods was the only place that helped the staff are caring they got to do a whole bunch of activities and they even helped him through knee surgery and he actually felt comfortable there I would recommend it doesn't feel like a placement it feels like an extended vacation to get the kids back on track and away from the drama. He's had no problema since he got back we rarely had days before where there wasn't some sort of problem there flexible and patient. WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND.”

“Tonight we’re going to see a movie in the park. Always fun watching a movie at Leaf Erickson Park under the stars by Lake Superior. Thanks to Duluth’s Greater Downtown Council for being a sponsor of this event.”

“Clean and well organized. It's nice they have this for the struggling community to get warm food. Even the staff seemed kind to all the people, they didn't seem to judge anyone from what I saw. To be honest most companies/organizations don't seem near as genuine as this place did. Good job you guys! Keep up the good work!”

“It's a wonderful wonderful wonderful thing praise god! It'll let us a little frustrating though that today we were 8th in line but by the time it opened at 11:00 there was about 30 people in front of us people let people cut and join them all the time the lion didn't get any longer but it sure got wider it should be first come first serve. But everybody that's working in there or volunteering in there are lovely and wonderful.”

“This is a great facility with great staff. There have been no cleanliness issues when I have been there, as mentioned in some other reviews. The locker rooms are tidy, the pool is spotless. The second floor features some fantastic equipment and a lot of variety. I have also really enjoyed the Gentle Yoga with Natalie and the Fitness Yoga with Kristin.”

“@ QKIt's a shame that some folks hide behind a screen using false acquisitions. I'm a Witherspoon. Elijah Witherspoon and I'm proud to be an OUTSTANDING member of the Duluth Community! My Mother, sister Salaam and brother Stephen have made a very positive impact here in the city of Duluth and will continue to do so for many years to come! I beg to differ on your statement regarding my family having a "horrible" reputation. And yes, some of us are less than perfect. Can I ask you a question ghost? Are you perfect? He / She or whatever your pronoun is, if you are without sin, by all means cast the first stone!Only because you had mentioned it and I wanted to clear the air, there was no insurance money collected by any Witherspoon because a Witherspoon didn't own it. We were just employees.Last, Carl is my friend, I've known him for many years. He's made a lot of sacrifices to become the great leader he is today. So, in conclusionGhost writer, please remove this post. It's full of inaccurate information and besides, how would you feel if someone wrote false info about your family? You'd feel just like I do right now...God Bless”
