I just walked out of Benders due to poor customer service. I needed help finding Men’s Birkenstock Sandles. I found a woman at the back register and obviously caught her in the middle of something important as she was very curt and rushed as she showed me the men’s Birkenstocks were up front with the women’s. I asked about soft vs hard footbed and was curtly told they had no soft foot beds. I had questions on oiled or natural finish and didn’t get much info there either. I drove from Solon Springs to Benders to specialty get more personal info on the choices instead of just ordering online.I ended up going to Tradehome where I received customer service that showed me they wanted to actually help me.

This is my very favorite store in Duluth. The staff is so attentive and knowledgeable, reminds me of how it used to be when clothes shopping!

Great selection of shoes, clothes, travel items, and cute things to go in the house. This is my go to place for clothes and shoe shopping, and I always had for the clearance section 1st. They have a really nice selection of clothes. Some on the pricey side but they’re well-made and look really good. The staff is very helpful and courteous. You can’t go wrong shopping here.

Enjoyed my experience, both times. Had an issue with the shoes purchased, and the return and reselect was painless and fun with AUSTIN. Let him take care of your shoe needs! He's knowledgeable and has a super attitude. No complaints from me on the pricing, good shoes that fit are priceless!

If I could give this place a NO STAR, I would. Arrived on a Sunday, non-peak hour, I'm maybe 1 of 4 customers in the store and at least 3 working staff. I paced by their higher priced items looking for a new shoe for work and even stood in the center of the store, only to never be acknowledged once the entire time, other than when I was leaving. If there was a supervisor present, you wouldn't have even been able to tell. I won't return or recommend business here.

Went to another shoe store, before benders, they didn't give a damn! Then went tobenders, excellent store, they really care about the customer! Will go back to benders.
