I really wanted to adopt a from a shelter specifically, but I no longer trust this shelter unfortunately.I adopted a kitten last year named Pop from here. She displayed very high energy and was extremely cute, love her!Pop did not have an adoption process from what I recall. She was ready to go the day of. Looking back, I think that’s a little strange because they typically have adoption processes for kittens (I think). She had recently been spayed, so I had to give her gabapentin for a couple of days and leave her cone on for another week. The cone fit horribly and I felt so bad for her that week.About a week or so later, Pop was having some strange twitches. I didn’t think much of it, it would happen when she was sleeping and figured she was having a bad dream. A month or so later, these twitches turned into full-blown seizures. Horrible seizures. I called animals allies to ask if she had ever had a seizure before and they reported that she hasn’t. I had asked if I could return her because I had too much going on at the time to be taking care of a special needs cat. They did refer me to a foster program but they rudely refused to take her back, going back and forth between two staff on the phone. They said she would most likely have to be euthanized if she were brought back. I then asked if they could help out financially in any way for her veterinarian expenses and they said they can’t do anything but they did refer me to a couple websites.Pop is still alive and well, she’s doing better than ever right now and has very minimal seizures due to her medications. I don’t regret adopting her. She made me a better, more responsible person. I just don’t appreciate the lack of help and information they give. I also don’t think they should be sending kittens who had just been spayed to a home while they are recovering. It could have been a possible reason for her seizures, but who knows. I’ve heard from friends that they have had issues with their cat’s medical history as well, assuming some cats are much younger than they really are.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!So, I adopted a cat for my son from here. This place gave me false info about the cat, who harmed my granddaughter who is autistic and could have killed my service dog.Spent 200$ on this cat and they REFUSED TO to refund my money.I came into the place crying because I basically spent my paycheck on a cat that couldn't even stay. We adopted on Sunday, would have returned on Tuesday, but I had to work. So returned him first thing Wednesday. And returned him with everything we bought for him. Cat toys, food, litter box, you name it.GARBAGE PLACE!!!!!!!!!

!!!PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU ADOPT!!!My special needs brother has been wanting a cat for over 3 years and we finally decided on a cat.My mom came in, and got SpongeBob, who we thought just became overwhelmed when he was pet. First thing we did was the usual give him his own space. After a while, he wanted to come out, so we did. What did he do? He ran after the small dog we have and tried to harm her. Our little dog was eating, minding her business and Spongebob is large enough to KILL HER.He then proceeded to attack my niece over 5 times in a span of 3 days, and my niece is autistic and he BIT her. When we decided he needed to go, this place refused to refund our 140$, even if it said nowhere on his paperwork he came with that said he was aggressive with smaller dogs or children. We called before returning him, and the lady on the phone lied to say we could get a possible partial refund. We're living paycheck to paycheck, so now we won't be able to buy groceries this week.Horrible, would NEVER buy another pet from this place.(Ps, my mom was crying horribly and they still didn't care.)

I got my baby there about a year ago and they were the nicest people who care about the animals and have great adoption prices and fully vaccinate their animals before rehoming.
