? I made my reservation weeks ago ( they don't have the cars you reserved. Same as last time).Only one person working the counter and all these people in line, feel like i was waiting to vote. ? No, that was done a lot quicker! do the car look like it has seen soap and water ?. SMGDH.?

I want to share how helpful the woman who helped me at 245pm on 3/21/2024 was. Unfortunately I had lost my physical driver's license a week ago in TN while driving home to KS from a vacation. Because of this the day prior to my trip here to Duluth I had to get a replacement Driver's license so I could get my rental. Interestingly enough, KS mails you the replacement license but gives you a black and white printed temporary license. The woman working the desk had never seen this before and was rightfully skeptical. She took the time to call multiple places and people to verify everything painstakingly and make sure to get me the car. I am greatful for her extra work and her excellent customer service demeanor while doing it. I don't know her name but I'm sure the organization can figure out who it was.

Staff were friendly and I easily upgraded to a small SUV. I would have liked the return desk to be staffed to make a payment card change but it was not a huge deal. Nice RAV 4. Clean and comfortable.

I had an AMAZING experience with Barb at Alamo Rent a Car in the Duluth,MN Airport 10/12/18. I had just got off of a plane at 11:30pm and was tired from traveling. I was stressed out because the reason for my trip was quite stressful. Anywho- I had booked a car with Budget and tried to get my vehicle but the young man at the counter was so rude to me, inconsiderate and not helpful at all. Turns out there are some new rules at Budget that hinder a car rental unless you have a credit card. The young man wasn't even going to tell me that Alamo could help me so I would've been stranded in a strange place, all alone- what a butthead! Thankfully I walked down the line and saw sweet Barb who greeted me with a smile and promptly helped me and gave me a free upgrade to an SUV since the weather up north was showing snow. Barb helped me to start my journey off on the right foot and she made me feel cared for, safe and like she actually wanted to make sure her customer was treated with respect. Barb is AMAZING at what she does and I was just so thankful and appreciative of her understanding and hospitable nature. Barb is a big asset to Alamo Rent A Car, she will make your experience easy, quick and even fun with her kind words! She really cares about her customers and that is a great employee! Thank you Barb!!! :) :) :)

They had good rates and good service. But the tires on their cars at least the one I got was not designed for the environment. In the middle of winter in Duluth mn it should have all season tires for the safety of the customer and their vehicle.
