Terrible service from an employee by the name of Matt and someone online, says her name is Heidi, who claimed to be the owner, but represented herself more like a fellow employee with no customer service skills whatsoever who defended Matt like they were in an intimate relationship. She basically told me they were right and didn't care about me as a customer. They charged me for packaging that wasn't required by Amazon. Thankfully Amazon reimbursed the money that was extorted from me by this hustler that works at the UPS store in Detroit Lakes, MN. Up until today I have never had an issue with customer service at this location. I will never go back. This Matt seems to think he knows everything. Amazon says he is incorrect. I believe they are just trying to make a profit by trying to intimidate customers into buying unnecessary packaging from the UPS store or they won't accept your Amazon return. So, wasteful and not very environmentally positive thinking. My return was shipped in the manufacturer's box by Amazon with no packaging to hide the contents. I saved all the photos and emails for documentation and this Heidi wouldn't respond, but to say, "I'm the owner and you are just a chump for me to make money from!" I'm paraphrasing of course. I think Matt and Heidi need to find a job outside of customer service. Avoid this place if you can. Terrible people to deal with. I would give half a star if I could.

Actually I only called you Karen in regards to the manner in which you act. A reference to your indifference to your customers and your holier-then-thou attitude. That isn't name calling. I never used vulgar language nor did I make any threats in my emails. I never harassed you either. This is complete fabrication on your part. You seem to like to portrait yourself as some type of victim. Just because someone disagrees with you and lets you know the truth you are not the victim of harassment. Where is this fantasy world where everyone has to agree with you and do whatever you tell them to regardless if you are wrong? No threats were made. For you to say that is simply laughable. I only said I would inform my family and friends to avoid your place of business and told you that your poor attitude and example is not wanted in this community. You really do lie entirely too much. I'm sorry you believe you can do no wrong and that this is somehow every one else's fault, but never yours. You have a God complex which is terrible in the customer service industry and I am sure this translates into your personal life as well. Thankfully there are other UPS stores relatively close which I can use and avoid yours like the plague. I hope you get some retraining in how to deal with customers. I can't say it's been a pleasure. And Heidi, I am aware that Jeff G******* is the actual owner and you are just the manager. Good luck in all your endeavors.

I stopped to get some quick photo copies of some detailed craft projects so I could make notes. Matt and I had similar interests and while we had enjoyable conversation he went above and beyond to provide great results. Phenomenal customer service and photocopies were cheap!

First time and last time I'll go here.. went to ship a large package to Idaho on a PayPal sale. I provided the address etc and somehow Shanae I believe her name was, inserted the gentleman's old address in California.. I didn't catch this on the receipt and I'm sure the $350 shipping charge I paid was for California. When this was caught the next day I was told that I signed therefore it was my fault and that shipping to California or Idaho was the same price . No chance... so the gentleman who was receiving the package contacted the store over giving out his private information to his old house to me, basically a complete stranger, Shanae the employee told him I gave them the incorrect address,flat lie, was rude to him, and hung up.. I went there in person after this looking for the owner and she again lied to my face and acted like it was my fault.. long story short, I should be refunded the outrageous amount, terrible customer service, breach of privacy, and flat lying.. I'll never go here again.. simple transaction completely ruined... 1 week later and the package is still in California..

All I can say is when mistakes are made there is a right way and a wrong way to correct themA gentleman named Scott went to send me a package, I provided Scott with an idaho address. When checking the tracking I see it says Pacheco California, somewhere i lived years ago. I verified I provided Scott with the idaho address on both Facebook and PayPal. No possible way for Scott to have my old address.So I call in hoping for a simple correction, refund Scott the difference and put the new address on.Shanae I believe the name is was extremely rude on the phone. She would not listen to anything I said and simply repeated "Scott signed for it" while talking over me.She then hung up on me, funny thing Is she called me on behalf of the owner, or atleast she said so. When I told Scott this he said she was the one who shipped the package, makes sense why she was so defensive.Shanae spoke over me, was very rude, hung up, and lied about how the transaction went. Unfortunately she represents your business very very poorly and spoke on your behalf in a horrible manner. I hope i receive a call as promised by the OWNER and not shanae again. I look forward to seeing how we can correct this.

I came in Friday on Sept 22nd just a minute before closing and the young lady working was very gracious to let me in. I drove from MAHNOMEN right after work, so it’s quite the drive just to get a decent UPS Store. Thank you lady for helping get my shipment off before closing.
