Got my hair cut by Angie, and she did a wonderful job! Asked all the right questions, gave me a high-quality cut, and styled my hair in a way that I can replicate at home. The vibe in the salon was fun and easygoing. They carry some of my favorite products, and their services menu has lots of options, so there are plenty of reasons for me to return!

I was looking for a comfortable space for relaxation and scheduled a facial with Maddie, then later a massage with Athena. I have social and touch-based anxiety and they were both absolutely wonderful to work with. Both were friendly, professional, and welcoming and I felt safe, comfortable, and heard during our sessions. I've been going to this salon for 4 years and have been seeing Erin. Through the years because of an illness, my hair has been falling out and so very thin, even have balding at the crown. I went and saw Hannah about a month ago and we tried extensions. But today I went and saw her and we tried something else!! I am once again in love with my hair!!! I feel normal again!! Ladies, if you have thinning hair or even balding on top like I had, she can make you feel new!! My confidence is back! She rocks!!! Hannah, I can't thank you enough! The staff at Turn North in Detroit Lakes are both skilled professionals as well as very personable. When I broke my wrist near the end of 2019, they fit me in to wash my hair weekly since I couldn't do it myself. I've been working with CoCo for my hair lately, and I always walk out looking and feeling better. I am someone who listens to other people for a living and who experiences stress from her work, and I appreciate that CoCo listens well and helps me to relax and enjoy the experience.Their massage services are a welcome addition to their menu of services. After my first massage with Athena, she texted me to ask my how I was doing, if I was sore, etc. Of all the massage therapists I've worked with over the years, I had never received that kind of personalized care and follow-up. When I told Athena about problems with tennis elbow, she did research between sessions and tackled with extra TLC. She can do deep tissue for me as well as a lighter touch to just help me relax.I'm deeply appreciative of heart and soul that A.J. and her crew bring to their work.
