They just want to butter you up, take your check, and never see you again. Buying a brand new boat you should be able to buy exactly what you want, they forced me to take things I didn’t want after the boat was here.

Really solid experience with the service department. Have been storing our boat indoors here for the past two winters. Their crew is friendly, their services are fairly priced and they do a great job with winterization and outboard maintenance. Highly recommend!

Good people to deal with. Made the buying process very smooth and thus far very responsive with follow-ups. Would recommend talking to these guys if you're in the market for a new boat.

Stored my pontoon with Foster Bros for the winter, and it was returned fully missing one of the seat cushions, leaving a gaping hole where one of the seats should have been. Handle of the trolling motor was also fully broken off and had been stashed in one of the compartments. Over four months later, they were still not able to replace or repair the cushion, failing to even obtain a quote from another shop to do so. They also refused to reimburse for a quote I obtained myself from a local upholsterer. Ended up having to build a replacement cushion myself and will probably end up footing the bill to repair or replace the trolling motor as well. Disappointing that a "repair shop" is unable to perform a basic repair or otherwise make the situation right after an entire season of waiting. Avoid at all costs.

Was great service till put deposit down then after was committed to boat, service/friendliness dropped off cliff! Good thing can take boat for warranty (IF needed) to other places.

Have inquired multiple times for a kingfisher boat quote and have had no response this is going on for months now. You'll get a email saying the sales guy is out and will follow up when he gets in and then nothing.Won't recommend foster bro to anyone and actually ordered 2 king fishers from a company that actually cared to follow up and help me build my escapes.

Is 6 stars an option?! These guys are AWESOME! My Moorhead dealer didn't have my parts in stock so they referred me to Foster Bros. I am so glad they did! Chris was absolutely stellar from start to finish. The ability to text them was really convenient. I ordered my parts Tuesday afternoon and told Chris I needed them ASAP. He caught the UPS truck right before it left and got it out right away. I received my parts the next morning! I could not ask for better service, these guys are the best!!

ALL SALES - NO SERVICE *** BUYER BEWARE ***Can I leave zero stars? Or do they get a participation star... Where to begin.Purchased a new-to-me boat in November and because of November in Minnesota there was no way to test drive. David Olsen at Foster Brothers Marine assured me that they service the boat and it is ready for the water next spring. I would have never bought a boat in late November from a private sale but I trusted the word of this business. Drove 5.5 hrs (~300miles) to finalized the sale and excited for this years boating season. Fast forward to May...Dipped the boat for the first time in May and boat took on water due to a torn bellow. This is not a simple, no inexpensive fix. I immediate reached out to David to let him know of the issue. He said he would pass it onto his service manager (Adam Boehlke) who never responded.I dropped the boat off at my local marina for service as no one from Foster Brothers Marine returned my message. Service was completed and I again reached out for support.Service manager Adam Boehlke responded to let me know that if I would have contacted Foster Brothers Marine, they would have replaced the bellow for me. When I mentioned I DID contact them and nobody responded, his answer changed. Said I was over charged, said that they would have only replaced 1 bellow instead of all three (which is the 'cheap' fix). This is the 3rd bellow overhaul I've had over the years. No good shop would recommend replacing a single bellow when you have to take off the lower unit to repair. He now said they cannot stand by repairs from another shop and washed his hands of it.I gave Foster Brothers Marine a fair chance to work with me before making this post as I thought it was only fair to give them a chance to respond. Foster Brothers Marine didn't make ANY attempt make things right or even meet me anywhere in the middle. I would have have been willing to split the difference with them to not have to truck my boat 600 miles back and forth.What good is a handshake with these guys? Careful they will leave you feeling empty handed.

I had an absolutlely terrific experience purchasing a 20 HP Honda portable outboard motor from Foster Bros Marine. I called in advance and spoke with Gary Klingler, one of the staff pros. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to review the different Honda models and features with me over the phone, including current inventory and pricing. I really appreciated that. When my son and I arrived at the marine Gary addressed a few more questions we had and made the final purchase easy. We drove to the back of the marine, where he loaded the boxed outboard in our SUV and reviewed key steps to get it ready for first use. This was really helpful given I am new to boating. I can say that this marine offers absolutely great service and pricing, has really good inventory on high demand outboards (maybe because they are a premium Honda dealer?), and it is worth a trip across the metro.
