I have to give a huge shout out to Delano Veterinary Clinic and their entire staff!! I have what you call a “frequent flyer”. My chocolate lab fur baby has been through the gauntlet in his first 3 years of life starting with almost loosing him to an extreme case of pneumonia just after he turned 1, torn up paw, ear infections, allergies, among so many other things! Most recently he had a mass removed from his foot and the recovery was intense. DVC has been there every step of the way and has always made time for us and puts up with us crazy animal lovers who always panic about our 4-legged children. Let’s face it, their name should really be Delano Vet and Counseling Clinic!! From the front desk all the way up to the Vets, they are top notch and truly care about our animals and provide the best care. I couldn’t be more grateful for everything they do and will never go to another vet. They are family!!❤️❤️

Used to be good place. Then they expanded the building and since then it only went downhill from there. They must need more money because they play on customers emotions to uncharge unnecessary surgery's. I have 3 dogs, taken 2 of them there. First dog was taken to be inspected for tooth issues. After the visit you could see like 6+ needle marks almost like they were training their techs on my dog. "If this were my dog I would have the surgery done right away." Upsold 3k surgery on dogs teeth. I went to longview in longlake They didn't make me wait 2 months. They got me within a week and apologized for wait. They told me how it wasn't nessasary and it wouldn't open to infection like delano told me. If you want to feel line a terrible owner for not affording unnecessary 3k surgery for doggie dental. This doggie disaster vet is for you.

We moved to Delano this spring and transitioned care to Delano Vet, they have been great to work with and have taken great care of our dog!

I only give them 2 stars because up to recently I felt they cared for my cats the same I did. I have 2 cats that are spoiled rotten and my babies. My 15 year old buff tabby stopped eating his food (only would eat boiled chicken) had diarrhea was loosing weight and was throwing up saliva. This went on for about 2.6 months. I begged them to do blood work but because he was a senior and healthy a couple months prior they wouldn’t do it. Me knowing things can change with senior cats quickly decided to go to a different vet. They did blood work on him checking his pancreas kidneys and thyroid. It came back positive for pancreatitis. If I would not of found this out I could have killed my cat. I knew there was a reason my tortie doesn’t like going there. She acts like a spaz when we go there and no one will touch her to we give her 3 gabapentins. No thank you. Yes I try to support local and small business. But I will not support Delano Vet Clinic anymore.

It’s a hard step when you have to let a loved friend go because it’s time. Delano veterinary clinic blessed me in my wife and my family with genuine care for our dear Coco and our family. They were so nice, we got there after an hour car ride with our cat and she had pooped in her kennel and they bathed her and gave us a new towel for the ride home. Thank you so much!!

Staff is friendly & knowledgeable. Dr. Pryor took the time to get on the floor with our shy dog to make him comfortable. She is always thorough.
