Very nice place Great getaway for the weekend or during the week nice and quiet.
Rooms: Nice clean rooms.
Nearby activities: Lots of stuff to do.
Safety: Never had a problem everybody is so nice in this area.
Walkability: Everything is right here within blocks.
Food and drinks: Cute little breakfast they have a mini pancake machine which I love.
Noteworthy details: Very nice staff very reasonable room rates You're not going to find anything better for the price especially.

Unfortunately this motel is in dire need of updates, the room smelled like cow manure when we entered. There was no cove base around the carpeting in the whole room, towels and wash cloths were grossly stained, thin and worn, bed sheets were very thin and stained, pillows and mattress were lumpy, bathroom sink was rusty, cracked and no drain plug, bathtub had a mat glued in the bottom, posting some pictures for your review.
Noteworthy details: disgusting place to stay 😢

Room was very damp. The towels were very worn out. One had pool written on it. Some of the linen was stained. I misplaced a room key and was told that I would be charged 25 bucks for it. I later found it and returned it and was told the owner instructed them to charge my card 50 dollars for it. Also was charged almost twice the rate that they normally charge. The lady at the front desk was nice and did what she could.
Rooms: Room was damp and small. Some of the linen was stained. The towels in my garage are in better shape than the ones in the room.

Terrible hotel. Dirty, stained sheets and towels. Lumpy old matress, and one pillow was huge cubes of foam and the other one was flat as a pancake. The hot tub didn't work. They don't clean your room at all, replace coffee in your room or the soap, shampoo, and conditioner. No towels are provided useless you put your wet ones outside your room door each day. None of the above do they tell you about at checkin. Stay away!

Lets start by telling you I called and booked a stay for about 12 days. Was told a price and I reserved it. I looked on a booking website and for the same room and same amount of time it was about $250 cheaper. I called back and asked if I should cancel my reservation and book with the 3rd party the guy told me to quit being cheap and hung up on me. I was already on my way there so I did just that, and booked with the 3rd party instead. When I got there with another coworker I think the guy put us in different corners of the hotel just to make it more difficult because I asked if he could match the online price. Could never use the "guest" laundry because the hotel used it to clean the hotel laundry. Not once did they clean my room when staying there still blaming Covid on them being lazy. And for some reason they wouldn't leave the ice machine on. Only reason I am giving 2 stars instead of just one is there was one lady that worked there that was nice and found me a better office chair and the hot tub was actually hot even though the jets didn't work

I work in the hospitality industry and my husband does maintenance, so we are both well aware of standards for the industry. Be careful eating the food as the Manager Michael likes to still put out expired and stale food out to probably save money. The lights in the parking lot need replaced for guest safety. The paint in the spa and pool is coming off inside the water which is a health hazard for guests. Mold on the walls shows the dehumidifier is not working properly. Pool area is also hot due to this. The guest towels have stains all over them or even have the word "pool" written on the edge. Pool towels are being used as bathroom towels. Smoke alarms are chirping through the doors as you walk to your room. I also personally saw Michael putting food out for breakfast and he was not wearing any gloves. Lastly, I got a lot of attitude from Michael when I asked about a Military Discount and he stated they do not give discounts though their websites states they do offer discounts. This is what the Manager's standards are and I will never go back. As an industry reviewer this is the lowest quality hotel I have ever been to.

I can only speak to my booking experience. We were planning to be in town for a wedding and a block of rooms were reserved and although there were many left, they had to be taken within a certain timeline therefore, they wouldn’t book us under those terms. Instead, they more than double the rate and told us we had to book through the regular channels. Round and round the discussion went. I travel a lot and just felt as though I was being handled disingenuously. There was just simply no intent to work with anyone. I wasn’t the only one that faced this and they just clearly didn’t want to accommodate anybody. Which is why may be only one person from the wedding party stayed I understand that there are terms that come with a wedding block, but there was absolutely no effort and the cost was through the roof for a one star hotel. It doesn’t sound like I was unique in that respect, others face the same example. It’s unfortunate because they represent the largest block of rooms in the community and outside of that. There are some great options. Just not a lot of rooms available.

I will never stay here again. Very dirty and smelly. They charged me a extra 100.00 on my credit card saying we smoked in our room and we don't smoke! Thieves!

Do NOT stay here!! It’s a DUMP. Says it’s dog friendly but based on our experience it is not. (I frequently stay in hotels with my dog, about once a month, and I have NEVER had an issue at any other hotel) This was a one night stay, thank God, and as soon as I got in the room I was appalled. The carpet was gross and I didn’t want to take my shoes off. I noticed right away that the bed spread had a rip in it, but since this hotel is clearly a dump I stupidly assumed this is just what we get. I tried to get the fitted sheet back on the bed but the sheets didn’t even fit the bed. It was like they were sheets for a double but the bed was a queen. I couldn’t wait to leave in the morning. We forgot to drop our key off when we left. So we made a trip back and the VERY RUDE man at the desk told us he was adding extra charges including ripping the bed spread and for dog hair in the room. It’s a pet friendly room. I have a dog that doesn’t shed. And even if he did shed it is minimal to none. There are so many reviews that this hotel is trying to steal money for phony charges and I believe them. Please BEWARE. Safe yourself the headache and DO NOT stay here!!!

This is a very shady establishment! The hotel is dump for starters. We booked a reservation and paid for it online. When we showed up, they tried to charge us additional fees after we had already paid them. Then, after check out, they charged additional fees, saying there was damage and dog hair in the room. It was a pet friendly room, and some dog hair should be expected. The air conditioner didn't work, so the room was damp and smelled musty. The room was so gross that we didn't take our shoes off. I would definitely not stay here. You would have a better experience sleeping in the ditch.

Clean, inexpensive and easy check in. It's not the Ritz of course but if you are looking for a clean place on a budget then you've found your place.

We arrived with a trained service dog, was told that unless I had a letter signed from our doctor, they would not honor. I did show his papers, as all the front desk kept saying was company policy...I really hate when policies are a direct violation of federal law! Needless to say, we don't have a signed letter from our doc, he kept showing me ESA papers saying thats what I needed, I tried to explain that ours is a medical service dog.
Moving on, I called before booking, checking to make sure the hot tub worked. Was told it was working. The bubbles didn't work, so was a hot bath. Was told to wiggle the Switch, but didn't help. The light switch was hanging off the wall, box and all, in the pool room.
Breakfast was non existence- the pancake machine was broke and the lady running the place couldn't care less. They had bread, 2 types of dry cereal and like 2 boiled eggs. Very disappointing. I asked about the pancake machine and the lady told me she didn't know what to tell me, she already tried to mess with it
I will be contacting the BBB, although I see they have a F rating already, so Cleary they don't care.
