I fly out on Halloween for a long European trip. I finally did it!
I have been looking at Red Wing Heritage boots since my cousin came in with his RW shoes on and talked them up. He loved his and had already had them for 5 years and wears them almost everyday, he was OTR driver at the time and they were his go to shoes not boots, I was impressed.
Looked at the Clara and fell in love right away but, the price kept me away, 4 years of knockoffs at lower prices and I could have purchased them 2x.
Picked them up yesterday from the Hastings store, it was a quick purchase, Size 12 Oro picked up some maintain supplies and 2 different types of laces for the break in period just in case I pulled on the original laces a bit too hard and snapped them.
This morning, I am walking around the house in them to start the break in process, I love how they look and feel so far. Beautiful on line and in person, I am breaking these in to take on my trip.

I had previously been to multiple other vendors in the Twin Cities and the sales experience and especially the dress selections were really below average which made me anxious about ever finding anything I might like within my budget.Cue Anthropologie.I loved every single dress on the Anthropologie wedding website because the catalog looked timeless, chic, and elegant and this prompted me to book an appointment with a local store (which I was able to secure the same week). The dresses were a bit above my original budget, but what I saw online was so promising that I was willing to go above what I had in mind. Best. Decision. Ever.I nearly wept publicly from relief when I tried on the first dress in the store. The fabric, fit, and design of their inventory is UNMATCHED in comparison to any "traditional" bridal shops in the Twin Cities. The store associates were incredibly helpful, friendly, and deeply knowledgeable about styles. They were able to assess my preferences and pulled dresses beyond what I had originally wanted to try, and I loved every single one.Truly so beyond happy with the experience (I found THE dress!!) and will refer my friends to this location for anything wedding-related. 10/10 experience!! “Boots feel well made but there still made in Vietnam. Factory insole was paper thin main rubber is hard like a cheap boot. Baught the 60$ insole and it feels decent but still not soft like a good quality boot use to be. 300$ price point itsnt terrible but I expected more from a top name. If the top name is made right beside the low end boots is it really a top end product?”
“The store looks very neat and clean, and along with the pleasant staff, it makes for a very relaxed and inviting atmosphere. My husband is in big and tall, and he now has options for clothes he's comfortable in and actually likes. He typically struggles with anxiety during anything to do with clothes shopping, but he didn't feel overwhelmed or embarrassed because of said atmosphere and the staff member that helped us. We will be returning. Thank you!”

I think that's worthy of a fantastic rating.They miss 5* just on price. You're absolutely paying for a high quality product, but it's about 20% more expensive than I felt it should be for the kind of clothing you're getting.I will still shop here regularly now, but my wardrobe will be smaller, and I think that's ok.”

This on December 3rd I purchased him a new pair for Christmas, they were delivered on the 8th, but taken before I got home!!! I was devistated...I am retired and on a fixed income. This was really gonna hurt. I wrote the company an email and explained my delimma. To my surprise they refunded my account and I was able to order him another. How impressive is that. He will be soooo happy to get his new slippers. We are lifetime customers FOR SURE.”
