I recently switched to the Hy-Vee pharmacy in Oakdale because it’s closer to my home in Woodbury and they supposedly deliver. Due to health issues I can’t always make that drive to the Cottage Grove Pharmacy.
However, I’m thinking that I might need to switch Cottage Grove Hy-Vee pharmacy because I find the people there are a whole lot nicer and efficient with my medication refills. My encounters with the Oakdale Hy-Vee pharmacy staff is that the majority of them have been a bit rude abrupt when I call in for a refill I don’t get the medication’s. I need refilling not necessarily due to the fact that I’m out of refills.
I am a healthcare professional, so I give and leeway but it’s absolutely ridiculous. If you hate your job working with the public and it’s that bad, then go do a job where you don’t have to be that involved.

Absolutely love going here!!! Every single person here is extremely helpful. I call almost every day due to needing several prescriptions for my whole family. They are always so patient and helpful with me. As I said , everyone there is really nice, but especially pharmacists Nick, Dan, and Candy . And Crystal is also so sweet and remembers my date of birth and even my babies. They make it so easy to pick up and fill prescriptions. They are also very helpful if I have any questions about medication interactions- even if they are over the counter. I switched from Walgreens and I will never
go back there .

Switched from cub because they couldn't figure out how to bill my daughters prescriptions to 2 insurances. Nick is always very helpful. Only had a few experiences with not so helpful people.

Takes forever to get prescriptions filled. Very short staffed. Lines are always so long. 30 min wait just to be helped

My prescriptions cost 1/3 of the price of CVS here with no insurance. One script cost 30 bucks at CVS with insurance and 9 something here no insurance. What gives. It is pretty inconvenient for me to drive here but I save about 60 dollars doing so every month. Then on the 90 day mark I save about 700 dollars because one of my meds is 720 at CVS and 20 at Hy-Vee. What in the world is going on with the extremes.

Switched one of my prescriptions to generic Problem is the generic was not approved by my insurer and it ended up costing me more Did not realize issue until insurer sent letter questioning choice. Watch your cost closely Hyvee contacted insurance and discussed issue and credited me back difference They did go extra mile for me

What chaos! Took quite a while to find items because they we're in completely different sections than other stores. Three items weren't in the system when I got to self check. Once you've rung said item your stuck until someone notices. Took about twice as long as it should have to shop.

Website is not user friendly. You can only refill a prescription by it’s number, not it’s name. You also cannot order a history of out of pocket expenses to print from your iPhone. I am disabled and cannot always get out of the house to pick these things up. I also have to drive over 20 miles to pharmacy. I really like being able to use online services. Otherwise the staff is very friendly.

I haven't been in this location since 2018 I noticed a lot of changes were done to the store There is now a mia Italian pizza instead of a dia pida Italian street food They moved the charcuterie and specialty cheese Market grille is now wahlburgers And hickory House is now Market grille Very nice location.
