I have spent thousands here.
I have all the ego equipment, tools etc.
But you know what I’m tired of
Spending money and being the inconvenience.
If my ten year old taking to long to pick a drink out of your cooler when there is no one in line upsets you that much prior to our fishing.
Then get a better nights rest
I don’t need to spend money here to be treated like trash.

I try to make "Ace is the place" when I can. Convienet, over priced but does have good service. Ace Rewards is a gimmick to gets you to buy but can never redeem an earned coupon because of the exceptions- no Treager pellets and no fasteners (what?) No yeti and no this and that. I think i the coupon is only good for Ace brand items but I don't plan on spending time figuring that out.
Not sure why something like "coupon rejection" frustrates me, but it does.
Today I decided that I would rather drive a little farther to a store with better hours, better prices and pretty good service. And their Rebate doesn't discriminate Brand Name.

My fiance was Matthew Evgen who wrote a review last night about closing at 5:59. Again I don't care if the store was closed or if it was open, I wasn't with. When he got home I blew off his complaint, I have never had personal issues with this store or employees. However I went to the said store at 10:15am the following day to pick up the item we needed. And all three employees were standing by the paint counter complaining about my fiance, his review and his attitude. NOW this is where I will draw the line and never return to the store. I was an assistant manager for Walmart for 6 years and one thing you don't do is complain about customers on the sales floor. I walked out without buying anything.

I went to the store this afternoon at 5:50 and when I got there the people who were working literally locked the door as I was trying to walk inside... the store closes at 6pm and I knew exactly what i needed and it would have taken 2 minutes to help me! I am a regular at this store and I no longer will be unless they can hire people who actually want to have good customer service!

Again, I am last minute birthday shopping......... I went to Ace Hardware because of their large Yeti selection. I purchased a different color than I wanted, because, last minute. The salesperson said I could've custom ordered and had by Monday. Extremely helpful and I know the gift will be loved.

Poor customer service. Scott and Oliver were rude and uninterested in helping me out with an item that was listed online as in-stock at this location. Instead of answering my question as to where I could find it, they simply shrugged while repeating several times,“We don’t have it at this location, we don’t have it, we don’t have it!”
I barely made it 20 feet into that store and left just as quickly as I entered. It’s unfortunate since this is my neighborhood ACE, but looks like I’ll be making the drive to IGH from now on.

The coupons are only for regular sale price which makes them kind of worthless

Poor experience. Item was shown “in stock” online. Had 2 small children with me. Found spot on wall where item should have been. Waited for associate. Made eye contact with 3/4 who saw me waiting in same spot for over 15 minutes with small children and still offered no help. Finally I sought out an associate who then went and stared at the spot it should be. Another female associate, who I can confidently say was the least helpful tool store employee I have ever encountered, finally went to check stock in back. After 30 minutes in store, I was informed that maybe they sold it yesterday. I Was planning on making a few hundred dollar purchase. Every other Ace I have been to has associates asking to help you within 30 seconds of entering; I came to this store at the recommendation of another Ace. Poor customer service is why smaller stores will continue to lose to large tool stores who do push a lot of emphasis and training on customer interaction. I will not be back to this store

I love Ace as always friendly and helpful but not today. With four employees in the store walking by the aisle I was standing in multiple times, absolutely no one approached me. They were busy talking to each other, and ironically, the two women by the door were complaining about somebody else being 15 minutes late to an event. As I walked by them, they both looked at me and watched me walk out the door. I hope the chatting was worth losing a customer that was planning on buying some tools.This store has always had helpful staff in the past, but today was a wasted trip for me.
