I'd rather give 4.5 stars, but if I can only choose 4 or 5, I'll definitely choose 5.
My wife, our new son, and I got home from The Mother Baby Center 2 hours ago. We had an induction that didn't go as expected, so we were there for a long time - about 90 hours total.
The nurses and providers were generally excellent, and we would know because we met MANY of them during our stay. Especially on the labor and delivery floor, the staff was kind, professional, responsive, and personable.
The rooms were modern and relatively comfortable. The lighting was highly adjustable so no one had to try to get rest under horrible bright, fluorescent lights. There were TVs with many channels and climate control in each room. As the husband, obviously the accommodations are not wonderful, but after a day I figured out more or less how to sleep effectively.
My only criticism is that the nurses on the postpartum floor were just a little less attentive and professional than the ones in L&D. Some of them seemed a little distracted, they didn't consistently update the care board in our room, and a few minor other things.
Overall, this is a great place to expand your family.

My baby is under a week old. Next time if I have to deliver a baby I will look at a different hospital. Coming here and getting a random doctor was not a good experience. She was rude to me and bossy during labor. Any possible reason they will promote a C-section. I did not feel supported by my doctor. I am still traumatised after my birth experience. Thank God that He was there for me.

Every single nurse and doctor was amazing - caring and competent. The rooms are large and we were comfortable there. Highly recommend having your baby here!

I gave birth here in November & it was amazing. My main nurses were a woman named Kayla who held me while I got my epidural. She was so kind and reassuring. Then I had Mary who helped me with pushing and basically delivered my baby. She was amazing too! I had many other nurses during my stay too and literally all of them were awesome. My nurses were helping me with feeding and going to the bathroom and getting me ice chips. 10/10 loved my stay and everyone really made my first time giving birth a wonderful experience!

Please stay away from this Mother Baby Center if you care your loved ones. They are rude especially the charge Nurse and they have a lot of B.S policies.

My birth experience did not go the way I planned, not due to the hospital. My L&D nurse, Brittany, was so amazing. She was there for me every step of the way, followed my birth plan as much as she could. She even sent me a hand written card a couple weeks after I had my baby. I loved her so much, she worked very well with my doula who also loved her. My birth was pretty traumatic and not at all how I planned but Brittany made me feel empowered in the decisions I had to make. All the nurses I had in L&D were amazing. The only negative thing I have to say is about some of the postpartum nurses. I'm not sure if they're a different team of nurses than L&D but my experience was very different. One of the nurses was very rough with my baby, and to this day I've never heard my baby cry the way she did when being handled by this nurse. I called the charge nurse and asked for that person to not be part of my baby's care which they honored. Lastly, the nurse who discharged us told me I couldn't take my baby home with out an infant car seat. We had a convertible car seat which is equally safe. I had a c-section, a rather traumatic one at that since I lost a liter and a half of blood, and the nurse made me walk out the hospital. She did not offer me a wheelchair, and she was walking very fast as I was trying to keep up. On top of that, she walked me and my baby out while my fiancee was grabbing something from the car. She didn't wait for him to come back. I feel like I was robbed of the "going home" experience with my fiancee. Other than those two things, my experience at the mother baby center was amazing.

Had the best experience having my daughter at this hospital! All of the staff were so helpful from my call letting them know my water broke to them following up with me after I got back home from my stay. It helped make it so much easier than I could have ever imagined ! I want to give a special thank you to Sarah the nurse who was there with me at the birth of my daughter and then the next night I was lucky enough to have you again. (Night nurse I believe) You were so amazing and Mercy is lucky to have you! The rooms are super clean/ bathrooms too.

Hello!! My name is Karla. This is actually an honest experience. I like that in the entrance is secured because we had to use the phone and than enter to the building.I got there on Thursday at 7:30 am for an induction and check in for me was really fast. Did not have any issues. My nurse it was Kevin. I never had a preference between a female or male nurse but I was surprised to see a male nurse working in a labor and delivery. Kevin make sure that I was informed every step of the way about my care. We had a few questions and he went above and beyond to explain everything. I had my epidural and he make sure that it worked! He explained to me as well with detail what was going to happened after I had my epidural and I felt in control about my care. My midwife throughout my care was Samantha manning which I had a great experience but during my induction I had Kayla (I don’t remember her last name) but she was great as well, I was comfortable as well and encouraged to push and gave me an idea how to push, also she listened to my questions and gave me control regarding my care. Also I had great nurses Kristy, Katie as well. Kristy made a few suggestions about turning left and right during my delivery and everyone worked as a team as well because the goal was to deliver the baby. I wish I can mentioned every single one in here but I am bad with names. But we had a great experience. I was scared to be induced and I was really nervous but the team make me feel comfortable. The hospital as well is great with security and is really clean! I recommend anyone to deliver in this hospital. Great nurses and a great team. Thank you again for everything. My family and me we are very thankful. Please hire more nurses like them it makes a better place and a great experience.

Couldn’t have asked for a better hospital to be taken care of at. The nurses I had throughout the labor and delivery were phenomenal. But shout out to Sara and Mary!! Hands down the best nurses ever. And to Dr. D that made the call that I had to get a c section due to complications, she made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. My postpartum recovery has been great. No issue’s especially being this is my first time having a baby.

The staff(doctors, Nurses, Receptionist…) are good and supportive. They give their best in service. Very clean environment and patient/family friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for somewhere to deliver

The care team was great and the nurses took good care of my wife and new baby, but the cafeteria staff is a different story altogether. My wife called to order dinner. She was ordering a salad and simply asked, politely, if they might have parmesan cheese for her salad. Not exactly a terrible question, but the lady replied "this is a hospital not a restaurant" and hung up. If you can't handle a simple question like that without being rude, you should not work in a hospital. In fact, find a job outside of a service industry. This would have been a 5 star rating if not for that experience. I don't know her name but this occurred just before 6pm on 7/14/23

Saved my baby’s life. The doctor found a prolapsed umbilical cord after I had been laboring for several hours, and I was immediately sent in for an emergency c-section. It was one of the most frightening experiences of my life, but I came out on the other side with a beautiful, healthy baby boy due to the expertise, efficiency, and care of the staff. My postpartum care was excellent and the nurses took great care of me and my son as we recovered. I don’t have enough good things to say about my experience when what happened could have so easily turned into a nightmare

My experience here overall was ok at best. I had a 36-hour induction. I had two great nurses, Sarah and Jessie. They were so incredible and so patient and compassionate. The other two that I had, not so much. They were short with me and very dismissing. I was told the things that I was feeling were in my head, and therefore, sort of ruined part of my labor and then my actual delivery. Postpartum, I was chastised for things as if I were a child. I'll leave it at that. If I ever do have another child at my age, I will definitely deliver at another hospital.
