Foley always delivers exceptional care for our dogs. We have continued to use their services even after moving to the southern suburbs of the Twin Cities over 15 years ago. Highly recommended.

Very knowledgeable, friendly staff. Doesn't have the high pressure push for treatment options like Banfield does. There's now a rebate program for those spendy prescriptions. You can redeem points towards your fur child's appointment!

I took both of my cats to this vet based on the positive reviews, but I need to urge people not to go here. Unfortunately I have had nothing but horrible experiences at this vet. My partner and I have faced bullying from several receptionists and their office manager. Every staff member, doctors, techs, and receptionists alike are all rude and sometimes downright mean. I had to fight for over a year to get care for my cat, who was in constant pain. His eyes bled everyday, yet this clinic preyed on his need for immediate care and told us he needed several things (that cost several thousands of dollars in the long run) that were not even related to the problem. His herpes (which caused his eye issues and constant pain) were cleared immediately once we changed vets. They also ordered X-rays, an echocardiogram, and HOURS worth of unnecessary tests on our other cat at his post-adoption check-up. All he had was an ear infection. And they took hundreds of my dollars and hours of my time telling me that he was horribly sick when HE WASN'T. The cruelty that my cat had to experience that day is heartbreaking. They prey on people who genuinely care about their pets and will take every cent possible from you. They will deliberately not care for your animal's needs so that you keep coming back. Both of my cats experienced horrible vet related anxiety, which they DID NOT HAVE before our experiences at Foley Boulevard. I will never forgive myself for allowing sadistic doctors to mistreat my animals, my partner, and I. They don't do ANY part of the exam in the room with you (not even things like weighing/just looking things over, like looking in their ears and stuff)... Wonder why my cats were so afraid to go (let me note that they are very social and have always loved going to other vets)? Unfortunately, not showing you any of what they do, ordering hundreds of dollars of tests on a healthy animal, intentionally not treating actual health concerns, never being upfront about the cost, keeping my cats there for several hours (causing them to stop eating for days after because it stressed them out so badly), verbally abusing my partner and I, and several more things are enough for me to say with confidence that no one at this clinic wishes to care for your animals. Please do not bring your animals here if you wish for them to receive the kindness and care that they deserve. We have found wonderful success at River Rapids Pet and Animal Eye Specialty Center, where my cats are genuinely loved and respected. I can't believe that such a horrible vet clinic as Foley Boulevard is still in business. Your staff should truly be ashamed of the harm that they cause.

I went to get my cat’s nails trimmed and the vaccinations that are required for getting her nails trimmed.
The vet came back in saying that my cat “he” was healthy. “His” heart was good etc. My cat is a female and I know she’s healthy. I didn’t say anything about it. I got the bill. It was $170! It included a wellness exam for $74. So annoying.

I wonder why anyone would still bring their babies to this vet. I bought both my cat and dog to this vet but was disappointed again and again. My dog is 14 and he is walking slow. I offer the vet to see my dog x-ray of his back taken 2 years ago. I was charged 90 bucks for the vet taking a few second peak at the photo and she did not even told me ahead of time. I asked the vet if there’s something she could do. She suggested my dog should be on pain med for the rest of his life if he is walking slow. And before she can prescribe the pain med, my dog needs to get blood test etc… I was not interested in pain med for the rest of my dog’s life when he is not even in pain, just walking slow because of his old age. Then she suggested cold laser treatment that costs a few hundreds and 6 visits. I was skeptical and asked if she has seen it worked with other dogs. She simply lied to my face and made up some stories because my dog has seen absolutely no improvement. She also unnecessarily heavily drugged my dog before each vet visit. I have never had the need to drug my dog so much that he cannot even stand up and go pee when I saw other vet in the past. As with my cat, they declined to work with my own pet pharmacy. And when I call to get a paper prescription, they would only prescribe me one does of revolution plus when my cat is due for annual exam next month. This leaves my cat unprotected for a month because one dose of revolution plus is not even available to be purchased. This vet is always $$$ money over anything else. They don’t care about my pets’ feelings, needs, or even health. Just money.
Reply to business reply on July 31, 2024: First, both of my pets are boys. Why using she/her? So unprofessional!! Second, I have the receipt that shown the charge for looking at old X-ray for a few seconds. I am uploading it in a couple of days along with my reply. Third, I did inquired about the calming medicine when I picked that up and I was guaranteed that they don’t have ‘any’ impact to my dog daily activities except to clam him in his doctor visit. Fourth, my dog is always a good boy when he was seen by vet in the past 14 years! Never had to put on muzzle. Come on, don’t put all the blame on me and my dog. Very unprofessional response. I could also upload photos of evidence that he was not drugged and was very cooperative when he was taking his X-ray somewhere else. In the old X-ray, he was all stood up with his curl tail, not like this time his tail was laying down and he was not being able to stand nicely. As with my cat, choosing the most convenient pet pharmacy for me and my pets is my top priority, trying to lock us with the vet’s pharmacy just doesn’t fly. It’s disgusting to me that when your ugly business practice being exposed that you start blaming your customer and my pet that these are all our faults. Terrible vet experience and customer service?

I started bringing my senior dog and 3 cats here IDK several months ago. We've had a few visits. I highly recommend these guys. All of the staff members are always kind, understanding, and come access as hard workers dedicated to there patients. Cost of care is usually a concern for most of us. I'm also very pleased as far as the prices go here. They definitely do not upcharge They also give me pricing right up front and explain the treatment being advised. If you're looking for a new vet this is a great place to go.

Everyone was super nice and compassionate when we brought our dog in to be put to sleep. The veterinarian doctor was awesome! She was very thorough about the procedure and told us that we could take all the time needed with our fur baby. I highly recommend this pet hospital to anyone looking for animal care.

Don't take your dog there. They misdiagnosed my dog 2 times for having mites, and told me no, he doesn't have any! They left me in a room when he was pooing bloody mucus, and vomiting it. I thought he was gonna die. But he had Cushings disease which is a endocrine/immune disorder and it cost alot for their test. Later after they had denied he had mites, I called and asked for any pill to kill these suckers and they sold me 1 very small chew that cost $38 for ONE! IT did nothing but make my dog sicker than he was! Coughing, choking (no food) throwing up and could not rest. It didn't touch the mites! I saw how much $$ this place pulled in - in a day before the last time I left - WOW! I FOUND OUT THE ONLY VET I liked moved to another business. I can see why! When I took my dog to be put down cause I was tired of watching him get sick even tho I kept him going with my alternative medicine, he was suffering to breathe, sleep, rest etc. the Humane society told me I would never get rid of the mites because he was old and sick. God knows I tried for months giving him special baths and expensive food. He was hard to care for. I was getting bit myself and they get in the rugs/furniture as well that need to be treated! Stay away from this awful and expensive place where they only care about $$$.

My family and I have been going here forever, and I couldn’t say enough good things about everyone at the clinic, from the front desks staff, Beth, Sarah, and Jessica are all incredible, the vet assistants and techs are all so sweet, and both Dr. Barr and Dr. Murphy have been amazing with my dog. Thank you all for everything!!

The staff and vet were amazing. I felt like they really cared about my dog. They also let me know what each service was going to cost prior to performing. I thought an ear recheck would be cheaper than it was. 64.00 for them to look in her ears send kinda high but I plan on using Foley Blvd animal hospital in the future.
