I tried to go today, 12-11-23. It was 5:05pm and there was a hand-printed sign that said "Sorry, closing at 5pm" The hours on the website and on the door say 9pm. This is not the first time it has happened. I saw several other cars pull in and then leave when they saw it. Lots of lost Christmas $$!! The public shouldn't have to call to see if they are open, especially since I checked the website first. I found out later that another member of my household also went there at 5:30pm. She ended up driving to Champlin, which is NOT convenient.

Far cleaner than the Northtown location and quite a bit more variety. Come here now that the Village 10 location closed. Do occassionally find some surprisingly good deals. Don't always have what I'm looking for.

I can't tell if they are closing down all the dollar trees in coon rapids and the cashiers are taking it on people. First and foremost the store was in chaos , freezer section in shambles, shelves empty and poorly lit . It felt like a dystopian wasteland, opposite of the dollar tree in falcon heights. The older woman cashier was striking up an odd conversation with the woman in front of me, using hmmm and suggestive language to imply they didn't want me to know what or who they were talking about. I didn't pay it too much mind, as they might know each other. However when she rang up my items she was completely silent , no hello, no thank you, only told me the final price. When the Caucasian woman behind me was being serviced she turned back on, said hello, asked how she was and was all of a sudden pleasant. I'm new to Minnesota and chose to move here because of the kindness I have received in general. These BLATANT racist encounters with retail and service staff break my heart and I wish it would stop. I say hello and look to be pleasant with others. I won't be returning to this location and hope this serves as a lesson to others to be aware of how you treat other people at all times.

I was asking the lady if a line was open because there was a lot of people in one and one was open” I thought and I asked if it was open and she just said “No you cannot cut infront of anyone” and she was like rude. Then I went in to buy some head phones. They didn’t work so I tried returning it and they just made me get a different one. So me I didn’t know I had to grab a different one and go to the desk again I left with it. So then I went back in and they told me and I said “okay I’m sorry I didn’t know that” they kept saying what I was supposed to do but I just kept saying I didn’t know. The people were very very rude

I liked it here. They have a lot of stuff. The cashier was nice when helping me get a balloon. Not busy, clean store, big.

Friends, be careful out there when you spend money at businesses. I just had an experience at the Dollar Tree store over by Cheepskate on Coon Rapids Boulevard, here in Coon Rapids. My purchase amount seemed a little bit high. Mind you this was not a major purchase. But it still was about 10 cents higher than it should have been. So I pointed that out to the lady. The lady was not very nice about it and said you have to pay tax. I told her that tax was 7.125% in Coon Rapids. She said, you have to pay what the register came up with! She said you can call corporate if you have an issue. I asked for the corporate number. She refused to give it to me. She said she wasn't a manager. So I asked for the manager. She then rolled her eyes at me in the manager came out. The manager said that it was 9% tax! I went ahead and paid it because it was a small amount, but if you make a major purchase, that could amount to $25 or $50 extra because of tax! I then called back afterwards and told her that the State website proved that it was 7.125% and she really needs to pay attention to that because that is a serious breach. I have had some thoughts about other businesses that may have been doing this as well because I've had similar experiences in some places. My main point is, we need to point out what is right, even if it's not a big deal because things that are wrong start small and grow from there. If we don't stand up for what's right, then we will end up in a mess. Take what's happening in the world for example. Anyway, if any of you go to that Dollar Tree store, or any other Dollar Tree store, or for that matter any business, and something doesn't seem right, make sure you question it. I'm a full believer in paying the businesses when they undercharge me, and I'm also a believer in the business is charging the right amounts. Thanks for listening to me today everybody! Take care and God bless!

Love this place! On a tight budget? Like bargains? Dollar Tree is for you! I'd stay away from the frozen veggies but, beyond that, you can find most things to stock your home and fridge. The staff is friendly and efficient.

This Dollar tree is perpetually closed and open at odd hours. Dirty as heck even when it's open

I like the good ol' Dollar Tree, and this is a decent store. But with the employment situation, I'm not able to currently shop at any of them due to the open hours. They all close around 4pm, I just can't make it. It's unfortunate, as I like shopping here, but what can ya do? Hope they get better staffed someday.

Employees are so rude! Not a friendly place at all. Said hi to a worker and she totally ignored me and went straight to talk to someone else in the next aisle. Asked if a checkout lane was open because they were ringing up another customer without their light on and lady ignored me twice! Looked at what I had to buy and then said, "I can be." Bought a few balloons too and oh boy their life was over. Why do people seem like they hate their jobs so badly as if it's the customers faults? Of course, I was kind the whole time, that when she finally finished ringing me up, she finally gave in and told me to have a nice day. Won't be going back here again. The employees must really hate their jobs or they're just racist as heck.

Good store but very dirty. They haven’t vacuumed the entrance for months or years looks like.

Hours online say closes at 9. They closed the doors in front of me at 4pm. Pathetic. Workers are incompetent rude old bags.

I am very frustrated that your website hours are not accurate. Very sloppy admin.
