The Costco stores my wife and I have used prior to moving to MN have been our go to stores. The Puyallup WA location has always been customer-oriented, and the employees appear happy. It has been an adjustment moving to MN. The Coon Rapids store appears to have good products and produce overall. The store setup is not desirable traffic wise. You have to pull your cart from the exit side of the store crossing paths with those leaving the store to get to the entrance. Making this simple for the customer might pay off for this store. The self-checkout in the WA stores have always been a preference. The Coon Rapids store seems to be slower with response times and doesn't have a handheld device to scan larger bulk items like water requiring assistance. Tonight, on a slower Halloween night about an hour before close, I witnessed one associate assist someone and then head for the small counter/desk behind the check-out to talk shop with another associate. I did ask if someone could assist maybe too loud, directing my voice towards the two holding up the desk and fortunately a nice young lady came from another self-checkout where she had been assisting someone else. I didn't think it took two people to supervise one person as these two never acknowledged me. I did hear one of the two say to the other "is this night almost over?" as I left the checkout. I guess it's best to use the regular checkout lanes at this store. This isn't the first-time buying bulk items this store hasn't responded efficiently at the self-check-out. I do like Costco but have reduced my visits to this store. I would love to see a Costco opened in Blaine MN for the approximate 70,000 population that has a lot of spending power.

Favorite store to shop in coon rapids. They always have deals, and you get more bang for your buck. I love getting fruits from here; they are always fresh.

Here's what I didn't know about Costco Pharmacy: you don't have to be a member to the warehouse & online services! You can use Good Rx at Costco, but the membership price might* be better. I had to ask for the prescriptions that I had filled here-both were less expensive than Good Rx or my insurance (news to me!). You DO have to inform the cashier that you are a member & have them scan your card. It was well worth it to me to drive a little further & reap the substantial savings.While I was checking out, the next customer was buying dog & cat medicine for his pets! Plus, you can always stop at the snack spot on the way out & have a frozen treat!

Outside of building and parking looks a little sketchy, but indoors was clean, bright, cashiers were very friendly and non threatening. Inside was a little tight on space, but overall a nice establishment.

No one can beat their prices! However, they don’t always have everything but I don’t expect them to, that’s why they get 5 stars in my book. Their brand of liquor is a great quality and you can’t beat the price.

Visited on a Tuesday at 5-6pm:Everything was stocked! everything was clean! I thought they had a good variety of produce (helloooo spring) and I was able to pick up my miscellaneous staple items too. I usually get overwhelmed here on weekend trips, so maybe weekdays are the way to go?Also - I noticed they have fresh sushi makki rolls now. I'm not sure if that's a new thing or just a new to me thing, but I'll have to try some next time!

Excellent prices!! They have some really great options in bourbon, whiskey, wine, beer, etc. Definitely a great place to shop for parties. Some of their Kirkland options are really great, the spices rum, bourbon, whiskey and vodka are all solid choices.
