“Every time I stop in at the Riverdale location, staff are so kind and helpful. I really appreciate the staff here, especially as someone diving "back in" to actually buying myself some new wardrobe pieces after having 3 kids and wanting to feel a little cuter in my daily casual wear. They made me feel welcome and comfortable shopping there even if I know I maybe don't fit the target market. I loved AE clothes in my teens and early 20s, and it's been fun for me to rediscover some sense of myself as I see some styles resurfacing again. I felt silly about it at first, but the staff there have only been sweet about it, and I really appreciated that encouragement.”
“I always find what I need here, nice clearance section that is kept organized, nice sales and prices. Sometimes off from the online inventory but I understand that it can't be 100% due to returns and purchases coming and going at any time. The checkout lines can tend to get long but they are quick to call for backup... And the young faces running those registers give me faith that the future of humanity isn't as doomed as I once thought.. very kind, curious, and engaging!

“I’ve been selling clothes here for the last few years and have had good experiences every time. Yeah sometimes they don’t take things that are in excellent condition and in style but that’s just because of overstock. It helps to call before you go in & see what items they are wanting to buy & what items they will probably turn away because of their already full inventory. I’ve even taken the same basket of clothes back in that they previously turned away due to overstock and they ended up taking them because now they were in season/needed inventory. Call ahead if you’re making a special trip out there to see what they are looking for!”
