Vehicle was brought in for a multi point inspection and oil change, said tires were bad (which was true front two tires were balding), but that the pads were fine. After a week and a half of driving (I dhare the vehicle with my brother and we don't travel far) grinding noise from the rear started happening. Took wheel off and the pads were completely worn out with no pad material left and we didn't really hear any grinding at all until it got to this point, with grooves starting to appear on the wheel and the caliper piston has leaking brake fluid around the boot. Make sure to double check points of concern after visiting them as they're not very thorough and cost me a caliper.

I have taken my Corolla here ever since I bought it in 2018. For everything. I mean no one else has touched this car except when I was out of town once. I reviewed Carlson Toyota 5 years ago and gave them 4 or 5 stars, but today I am switching it to one star.
The evap system has had issues and has now been replaced 3 times. The first time I paid, the second time, it was still under warranty (it was 8 months later). The third time (9 months later) Carlson's computers were down and they weren't able to tell me if it would again be replaced under warranty or not. I reluctantly paid my $695.45 bill so I could get my car back. I was told to call in two weeks to see about if this would be replaced under warranty or not. Hopefully the computers would be working by then from the cyberattack the dealership experience.
I have called the service advisor as well as called the service manager (Lance) and left voicemails, and I have emailed both of them multiple times. I have now waited long enough to hear back from them that I can't even dispute the charge on my credit card anymore. I don't understand why a 12 month warranty would not be honored 9 months later. It would have to be that the warranty began before they installed the parts on my car, which is ridiculous.
I really enjoyed bringing my car to Carlson because it was convenient, clean, and the service advisors were professional and honest. My car is due for its 150,000 mile service, new brakes, and new tires. I plan on purchasing a Tacoma or a 4Runner next year for my next vehicle. Unfortunately, I can't in good conscience give any more business to Carlson for how they handled this.

Had my 4 Runner in for an oil change and tire rotation… service department noted an oil leak, they reached out and asked me if they should evaluate it… I said yes definitely look into it. In the end they completely ignored the leak and sent the vehicle home with me. Turns out that now there is such a significant leak that it’s worse than ever. A huge puddle in my driveway less than 12 hrs of having it home. Wow this is not a place to take your vehicle if you care anything about it… obviously Carlson Toyota does Not Care about your vehicle.
New twist 9/19. Took my 4 runner to a different service station… they found that the ‘oil leak’ was an improperly installed drain plug. Apparently Carlson Toyota cant even do a simple oil change without messing it up.

Zero star if possible! Brought car in for an oil change. Service advisor came back about an hour later to say car was ready. Said one of my tires was bad- puzzled because all my tires were less than a month old. He said then it should be okay. Then why the inspection? Paid for it - but was given the wrong key. Question it and was told technician gave him the wrong key. Not sure how he missed it when he pulled up the paperwork and it was for a different car. Asked if the correct oil was put in my car since paper is for a different car- assured me the correct one was and that I should be happy because I was charged for conventional oil instead of synthetic. I should be Happy!? Price difference of $10! Don’t try to make it seem like I got the better end of the stick. I could care less about the cost as long as I am charged for the correct service. What makes me happy ( and I’m sure all your other customers) is people doing their job correctly.

I’ve had my fair share of awkward and uncomfortable encounters with car sales people, but this was easily the best one I’ve experienced. I went in with my mom to look at a Honda CRV with her and we worked with a young man named Jovani and his manager Josh. Jovani was personable, knowledgeable, and not pushy. Josh was the same. I hope Jovani’s manager see’s this, because that man deserves a raise. We test drove, negotiated, signed, and drove off in a new car all in one afternoon. It was smooth as butter.
My mother in law will be looking for a car in the next few months and this will be the first place we look.

I had an 8:45 am appointment for my 2022 Highlander. I said I would wait for it. I am disappointed that it didn't get into the shop until 9:45.

To replace one tire it took two days and cost $349 for one tire replacement !! Won’t be back again!!

I just purchased a used Mazda CX-5 from Carlson Toyota. I saw the posting on Facebook by one of their salesmen (Liz) and she communicated promptly with me. We drove to MN from WI and were quite nervous about the process because we have never bought a car out of state. However, Nick (our salesman) made the process run so smoothly. The financial loan person made the process stress free for us as well. They didn’t pressure us into anything we didn’t wanted. Overall, it was an excellent and friendly experience in buying our car from here. Thank you!
Edit 8/15/24: I had to take away one star because I found out the license plate paperwork wasn’t submitted until 8/5 (3 weeks after I purchased my car). My temporary license plate is now expired and I have to wait longer until my plate comes in. I’m glad I did not get rid of my old car yet so I’m back to driving it. I didn’t realize it was going to take 3 weeks to process paperwork.

Assistance needed in finding a vehicle, Terri would be the resource to help aid in finding a vehicle. I was in need of vehicle looking to trade my old vehicle and she was Johnny on the spot ready to help me. Very considerate of budget and gives great detail on the vehicle(s) she finds or recommends. She didn’t give up on helping me and made it worth my while and wait. Patience is key and she has the most patience ever. Thanks for always helping those in need of a vehicle!

Had such a horrible experience. Been going here a few times for my oil changes, but today has been one that really made it the worst place to work with. I had scheduled an appointment at 3pm for an oil change. I also wanted to get my vehicle’s consumption reviewed since after I had my oil changed there last, oil was emptied 1/2 way thought before next due dates after 5000 miles (much less than the usual 10,000.) But maintenance team was done 3, which I understand and still want to proceed with the oil change. An employee checked in my car, took it to park, and told me to wait for a text… I sat and waited from 3pm to 5pm exactly (2hrs later). No texts/messages. I came up to front desk to check on the status of my vehicle, only to find out no one has even touched my car at all whatsoever. It was then that they said the system was “glitching” and didn’t have an order in. I needed to be somewhere at 5 so could not stay any longer. 2 hours wasted to wait for the team to do NOTHING. Definitely hesitant to be working with this dealership.

We had a great experience purchasing our new car from Terri at Carlson Toyota. The purchase was smooth and fast. We weren't pressured to purchase more than we wanted, and we left with the multimedia set up for us.
