They say one thing and mean another. They don’t want to work with families very much. I saw that their preschool is subpar. They leave their doors unlocked. Anyone could literally walk in and cause harm to their kiddos. Every daycare I’ve seen they have their doors locked and security in place. This place is lacking. Clearly they only care about money and nothing about the safety and well being of kids.

Why does this place allow children to get hurt by other children?

I called Laugh&Learn on January 15 2019 and spoke to their staff about options for childcare beginning in January 2020 (one year later). I was told by the staff that their next infant opening (0-16mo) would be available for 1/20, at which time I told them I would like to take that spot. After going through some general rules and details, I was informed that I was on the list and reserved for that spot. When I called back on April 16 2019 to schedule a meeting to finalize our paperwork, meet the entire staff, etc I was informed by the Manager that she did not have any record of our reservation. After considerable back and forth communication, she has been unable to offer any explanation for their shoddy record keeping, nor has she been of any help trying to remedy this situation created by this major error on their part. Very disappointing that they will not stand behind their mistake, own up and make it right. With the options for childcare in Cloquet, I'd recommend to avoid this one.

Incredible staff that actually put in the attention and work. Children come first here and it is very apparent. The owner has no problems getting in there and doing what needs to be done. If you have issues, she will be there to listen and help correct whatever is going on. Highly recommended
