Diane is a very kind person. I found a pup amongst hers that was related to my late Cody and her son brought the pup right to me. He has a little too much energy but will fill Cody's roll in my household.

Just because someone's dog are akc registered doesn't mean they're reputable breeders! You only have a meet certain requirements to be in good standing with the AKC but that doesn't make you a good breeder! Being registered does not mean, in any way, that the dogs are of high quality: it is just a record in a database. Many flawed puppies are registered by unscrupulous breeders just to be able to raise their price tag. The pedigree is what sets purebred dogs apart from the average mutts on the street (no judgment here, all dogs are amazing.) It makes them, perhaps, more interesting for dog breeders seeking particular traits and characteristics. A pedigree does, in fact, make a dog more valuable. So if you're going to be spending any money on a purebred puppy, Please do further research to find a breed worth your money. Just remember also, purebred doesn’t mean wellbred so please find an ethical breeder. Being apart of a breed club is a great way of knowing that, the breeder is dedicated to his/her breed and only breed to better the breed and to the breed's standards only. Please don't purchase a collie from Diane. Look for the collie club of MN if you want references to local reputable breeders! And plus, good breeder NEVER make "designer breeder" known as shollie. If you take a look on strling collies page, Diane uses a lot of bible quote, Don't use gods name to advances your own personal game. Diane also states that show breeders have bad temperament dogs which is so far from the truth. Ethical breeders truly care about the temperament of their dogs and will never breed a shy or aggressive dog. Diana dogs are unethical bred and she also have a lot of reviews stating how badly bred and temperament her dogs are! These type of "breeders" are what give reputable breeders a bad name.

I'm so happy that we got Daisy from stirling collies. If you are looking for a laid back, protective, sweet family member stirling collies is the place to go. Diane Stirling truly produces great looking and minded dogs. She definitely puts her heart into what she does. I have had a random person come into the yard when my kids were out, Daisy went into full protective mode she was barking at the guy while herding the kids toward me while barking and growling at the guy. You can always count on Daisy to be a loyal protector of the family.

We had adopted a dog a few months ago and ended up having to return him, mainly because he was very very violent right off the bat. The breeder was very rude when we asked her for options of what to do. She gave us very very expensive training we could do after already doing months or training and it not being successful. So eventually we had to return him cause we couldn’t afford the training she has told us to do. Then after giving him back she has promised photos and updates on him and never did, after asking her numerous times for updates on our dog and her not replying and the last attempt we made at asking for updates or photos she told us he had been adopted and never informed us of him adoption after dodging our emails. She is the worst breeder we have ever gone through her service is awful she is very disrespectful. I am 16 years old and he was MY dog and when I had emailed her personally and expressed that I am 16 and just want to know how my dog is doing she was very rude and said “I’m sorry I’m sure he’s fine” when she PROMISED us updates on my dog. I can not believe how disrespectful she was to me a 16 year old girl who wanted to know how her dog was. Her service is awful so BEWARE if you have any issues after purchasing your puppy she will not update you on anything even if you ask, watch out when using her.

Some signs of a good breeder is if they health test their dogs, don't have a lot of line breeding (all purebred have some sort of line breeding), and are apart of a club. We purchased a collie from Diane 5 years ago. Our Collie is so sweet, personable, social, and intelligent. She has never had an issue with other dogs or the dozens of children and neighbors that come by to greet her.

I adopted Ruby from Diane Stirling last November. She is the smartest, funniest, loveliest and loviest dog a brand new dog owner could wish for. She's EASY to train, is the BEAT teacher I know, the cuddliest cuddle-buddy and so sweet with my kids and cats. I will be going back to get another from Diane as soon as my areal restraints ease a bit.

They are terrific breeders with beautiful and healthy dogs. They really do care about the dogs as well as you. I had a collie from them that was with me for 13yrs before passing and I would go back again.

We purchased a Shollie from Stirling and she is such a sweet girl. Freya fit right in from the day we brought her some and she is super friendly and playful. She got along with our other puppy the minute we took her out of the carrier and loves meeting new people and other dogs. Everyone has commented on how stunningly beautiful she is. I was a little nervous to buy a dog from a breeder but I am glad we did. Freya was definitely worth the plane ride and we couldn't love her any more than we already do.**update** Freya was the easiest puppy to potty train and is super smart. She is protective of us especially our son, but is never nasty or aggressive about it. She has given herself the job to sit at the top of our hill over looking our garden so she can keep on eye on me while I am working in the yard. She also keeps an eye on our son when he is out playing. She is the biggest sweetheart and pretty much luxuriates in our affection. Overall she is just the best.
